Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

I put this in the category of something that's more there to provide atmosphere than serve as an attraction. It's a solid "meh" from me as an attraction and in terms of the theme (it seems over in Paris they are convinced Up! is a fairytale of some kind), but it looks appropriate for the setting.

As for Aladdin, I think replacing it with some restrooms that at least looked nice would be an upgrade.

They aren't screens...?

So far all the artwork and even the press release has said 'water screens'

Also at least some of the bargest will need to come in and out each day to charge the drones, resupply the pyro etc.

I think we could end up with a similar yet more compact version of the Luminous set up.
Looked like rainfall water screens to me, hope Im wrong. Concept art shows the sprayer water screens for what it’s worth

Will the opening of the rest of Adventure Bay/Way/World of Frozen be held up by construction of the swing ride?
No, Adventure Way and Frozen will open in 2026, but the Swings will open late 2026 (probably early 2027 knowing DLP's construction) so they're still be some walls up. Frozen and Adventure Way marks the end of phase 2 of this project, whilst Up Swings and Lion King are part of phase 3

It's interesting that the map they released today doesn't feature Aladdin or the Alice show. Then again, they've only just refurbed the Aladdin spinner so I don't think its going anywhere soon

The weatherproofing project continues. Expect the Buzz overflow to be next.

Has Buzz overtaken the new Peter Pan queue? They announced Peter Pan along with the Casey's terrace and Tower queue back in 2023, but Pan was tacked on at the end of the announcement?

Could also be that those two attractions don't really fit the themes of the areas in which they're located!

@Sir_Cliff I agree, they just don't fit with park so aren't included in the art. Whilst I don't think they are going away anytime soon Alice probably has a more finite life - if they capacity is still needed once Frozen is open it will stay, if it isn't, it will go. Aladdin I think will be around for longer but again it feels increasingly superfluous.

I just watched the Mousesteps video of the presentation and the most interesting thing I heard in it was that the World Premiere soundtrack includes Avatar. It will be interesting to see what other tracks it includes as name checking Avatar which is a rumoured future land felt like a wink.

The model of the park shows the new name/logo on the Earful Tower

More ideas following what's been announced:

Cars Race Rally and Magic Carpets should be rethemed to Finding Nemo to at least tie this area together

No sense in having a Cars ride here and the Road Trip hundreds of feet away

As I said before this needs to go, if for aesthetic reasons and nothing else. Avengers E-ticket needs to come next after LK

I've been vocal about adding more Hollywood Blvd to the park, but this false front to the left make no sense in isolation.

It was part of a series of flats that created a vignette around the Tram Tour station. Now that's gone and it's just there.

New facades and indoor lobbies should have been created for Studios 2 and 3 to dress up and weather proof them

As someone else said, why is the swing ride themed to Up, when it's not in World of Pixar? They could have picked any movie.
I think in Worlds of Pixar we're supposed to be into the worlds of the movies. We're in the Australian water current, in Andy's garden, in Radiator Springs or route 66 and in Remy's France.

However, Rapunzel and Up don't take us into their movies. Instead, there's the common architectural style for all Adventure Way with some references to those 2 movies. We're not immersed in Rapunzel's world or Up's world

Yes, fancy paving, light fixtures, and landscaping are doing a lot of heavily lifting for the front section of the park in mostly just working around what was already there. For the soundstages, I don't see why they couldn't have kept the facades the same for the entrance side and then given them new, theatre-based facades on the park side. That would have strengthened the illusion of stepping through the studio soundstage into the park.

The remaining facades from the early attempts to improve the aesthetics of the park and incorporate ToT are also a head-scratcher. Now that the whole studio backlot conceit is gone, you're just left with a weird group of empty facades. Whenever I see these views of the beginning of the new boulevard, it strikes me how odd it all looks with that group of shells of buildings backing onto that other shell that kind of resembles a building, Le Terasse or whatever it's called.
