As someone who wanted more of Hollywood Blvd with actual shops and not just false fronts, this is a nice surprise.
I expected them to just put in some tables and chairs in that space and call it a day.
I could see them shifting the focus from DAW to PDL, tbh, before a third land around the lake.Covid did screw a lot of things up, and Disney got cold feet about Batuu coming to Paris. but Frozen should have been open this year at least.
FWIW, Jack from DSNY Newscast thinks the third land around the lagoon after LK will be announced at D23 2028 at the earliest.
There's no room to add it, and after having added Spider-Man it doesn't make much sense to build Toy Story Mania now.Is there room and a desire to add midway mania to the Paris Toy Story Land?
If the Cars road trip (catastrophe Canyon) closes, that would free up a lot of room.
It just feels like WDS is very light on actual rides. Such a beautiful expansion that’s needed but where are the rides?
I remember visiting WDS three months after it opened and I was shocked at how small and cheap it was built. Have not been back since. When Frozen and the lagoon show opens, I want to visit again and see all the new beautiful work.
And I remember thinking that the Entrance was the only redeeming part of WDS.There's no room to add it, and after having added Spider-Man it doesn't make much sense to build Toy Story Mania now.
It's true that the park is light on rides, which is compensated by a large amount of shows ( I think it might be the Disney park with the largest amount of theaters). If you haven't visited since the park opening, then the only thing that will remain from your visit is the flying carpets and the entrance.
And PM. And PotC. And BTM. And ST. Etc etc etc.paris is general is short on rides, and queue length can be a problem. the idea is to have a stroll, take in a show and pay for a fastpass here and there. I'd say eat in a nice restaurant but only if you book a year in advance.
HSM = FF
Buzz = web
remy = PP
Crush = Indy
4 flats in Toy story+ aladdin + 4 roules = 3 flats in Fantasyland plus casey jnr.
Cars RT = IASW
Dlp then has, left over, autopia and storybook canal, plus snow white and pinocchio.
Plus the sheer environment of the original park.The offer in the Disneyland Parc is way superior to the Studios.
Can any "second gate" match the environment of a castle park though?Plus the sheer environment of the original park.
Animal Kingdom? Magic Kingdom is kinda the worst Magic Kingdom style Park out there, pretty ironicCan any "second gate" match the environment of a castle park though?
Tokyo Disney Sea seems like the obvious exception
EPCOT Center. Despite being the polar opposite.Can any "second gate" match the environment of a castle park though?

Ah yes, EPCOT Center... big difference than what is there now lol.EPCOT Center. Despite being the polar opposite.
The work on streets and landscape REALLY seem to be setting WDSP up for a nice park like setting even if a lack of rides will continue to be a problem.i really like DCA, it's different to a castle park, but the street entertainment is good, the lands are unique with their charm and it feels like a Disneyland to me.
i didn't visit in the early years when I'm told it was horrible so maybe im lucky not to be scarred.
i don't particularly enjoy being in WDSP but i enjoy the individual shows and rides.
It feels like a good theme park but it’s way below the Disney standards that they set themselves to.i really like DCA, it's different to a castle park, but the street entertainment is good, the lands are unique with their charm and it feels like a Disneyland to me.
