With the pace we've seen recently, I can see them doing soft openings in the Winter, before the grand opening in Spring 2026

Yes. I could see them officially open it even earlier than Spring, to be honest. March could be nice seeing the park opened on the 16th and this is basically a whole remake of the park, opening Adventure World (still hurts...) on the same date would be poetic.

Soft opening for the holiday season crowds, briefly closing, and then officially opening in March sounds doable.

I think they said 2026 to give them plenty of room to work with the opening, and because they knew this was not going to be ready for the busy summer season of 2025.

Guess it depends on the definition of soft opening. Is it soft openings for all or previews for select sub-groups. Cast, ex-shareholders, pass holders etc. From memory Avenger's Campus had previews but not a soft-opening.

Unlikely. It seems Infinity Defense is meant to be exclusive to DCA. I have no doubts that the stunt show arena will go down the line for some sort of Marvel attraction exclusive to Paris though.

So Disney is really following through with only building exclusive rides? I always find it interesting how much people complain about copies. Sure in the past few years it’s been too much, especially with two SWGE being built nearly identical. But Disney has always copied their most popular attractions and no one seems to be bothered. Imagine if PotC, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Space Mountain or ToT were exclusive to one park. Would be kind of weird tbh. However I absolutely welcome their recent decisions of building original rides again, especially in Paris. We need at least one attraction exclusive to Paris that puts Paris on the map of international Disney parks fans

Perhaps if it's incredibly popular they'll look to clone it, but I am personally happy if the move away from the mentality of designing rides with the intention of cloning them. Spiderman was something they apparently planned to clone from the beginning, and, once it opened in DCA, I don't think anyone was begging for it to be brought to Paris.

I was just at Hong Kong Disneyland, and one of the nice things about that park is that, even if it is missing some of the classics, it does have quite a few things unique to that park which has been rare for modern Disney. This park in particular risks feeling like bits of other parks welded awkwardly together, so more uniqueness would be welcome.

They've gone from ride clones to ride vehicle clones. Avengers at DCA and Peter Pan at Tokyo DisneySea use the same ride system. There were rumours that the Shanghai Pirates ride sysytem would be cloned for a Moana attraction at Magic Kingdom. They can still split the costs of ride development for 2 attractions at 2 parks like they did with clones, but apply a different story to make it cheaper

I live in Ohio and have been to DLP 3 times, so it's on my map! The dragon under the castle might be one of those exclusives. (Flight Force is also unique in theme at least, and Ratatouille was until recently.)

Shanghai took Alice's labryinth and changed it to the live action movie. Epcot took Ratatouille and removed the restaurant. It's not built yet, but Americans want to copy the Lion King in Animal Kigdom too.

If only we could copy their rides in Paris too, especially that Beauty and the Beast one.

Please don’t. It was designed for the Shanghai Tomorrowland and fits perfectly there. At WDW it feels incredibly out of place and I doubt it would be very different in Paris

It's hard to tell the true scale of the land when looking at photos from a distance, but I'm concerned that the shared courtyard for the restaurant, boat ride and meet 'n greet in the Frozen area will be too small for all the people trying to get in and out of the land. It's the same size as HKDL's version I guess, but the meet 'n greet there is elsewhere.
