Have you been to Magic Mountain since they abandoned the trams and got buses 10 or so years ago? It was strange and made unloading/loading take way longer. And yes, they were filthy. I wish I knew what inspired that change- a bus is just incredibly inefficient when compared to a tram.

Nope. Once the nephews were old enough to drive themselves there without a chaperone, I never had to go back. My last visit was in the mid 2000's. The nephews are both married with young babies now.

Not that I would go back to Magic Mountain. It was... not fun. And sticky. Everything you touched was sticky.

My knees are singing happy magical songs at the sight of trams! 😍

That said, I still haven't decided if I'm getting a pesky passkey or just doing tickets on occasion. I keep going back and forth and not committing...

You would have thought they had cleaned things before reopening due to covid. Guess again. Just as sticky as before. Bring lots of disinfectant if you eat there.

I was the same way.

Until last week when I talked to my tax guy and told him I was considering selling the big house and moving to Utah, who then pulled numbers together and practically begged me to move out of California. 🤣

My trigger finger has definitely moved off the Magic Key buy button. I'll visit again sometime soon just to check in on the place, but a Magic Key and regular visits are not an interest to me any longer.

My appreciation for Utah had gone up significantly the last two years. And until a week ago (when Salt Lake County brought back a mask mandate) I didn't even own a mask anymore.

Disneyland is great and all but I'm fine not going daily.

We're all going to have to get used to Lagoon.

"Disneylanders tired of walking two-thirds of a mile to the front gate and huffing and puffing back to their cars after a long day at the Anaheim theme park will soon have their wishes granted: The Disneyland trams are finally returning.

The parking trams that shuttle visitors between the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals garages and the front gates of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will return on Feb. 23, according to Disney officials.

The trams will run from before park opening until after the parks close each day once they return without any mask or social distancing requirements, according to Disney officials."
