If nothing else, the queue and atmosphere are amazing.

Yep from everything I have been told, its awesome! The real key to this attraction is the gameplay. No videos or photos are oging to do that justice on the web, so you all need to get over to the studios once this opens!

Steve, do you know if they have any interactive features in the line like Indiana at Disneyland and The Mummy have? Thanks for posting the pictures!

Yep from everything I have been told, its awesome! The real key to this attraction is the gameplay. No videos or photos are oging to do that justice on the web, so you all need to get over to the studios once this opens!

I'll be heading straight to PIXAR Place next week when I get there. I can assure you.

No. Its being ran very openly. Didnt even hear any no-photo announcements. There were lots of cast there with family, little kids. Everyone was loving it. This is going to be a seriously big hit across WDW.

OK... Don't jump on me...
I was really expecting (maybe just hoping a little too much) that when they removed the covers from the PIXAR sign the I would be the swing lamp. I'm genuinely disappointed by that. Everything else really looks very well done and I can't wait to see it first hand in June. Just seems like they missed a great opportunity to "brand identify" the area called PIXAR place with their own icon.

Anyone else disappointed by this or am I just hyper-critical?

Nothing that I saw at this stage was interactive other than the incredible Mr Potato Head animatronic - that is going to be a real hit with guests!

Do you get to see Mr Potato Head for your whole wait in line or just a portion of your wait? It looks like you go downstairs or something? Is he overly loud to the point where you can hear him even when your not near him?

In fact, the lamp is not on the PIXAR gate (which surprised me).

Yes, I would have thought it was really neat to have the lamp there...and periodically have it come to "life" and shine its light in different locations (not unlike the Leota tombstone. Haven't seen the ball with its star yet either....
