100% yes! Maleficent Dragon Coaster, Captain Hook Boat Ride, restaurant themed to Jack Skellington.....Come on Disney you know you want to! I'd settle for a ride that had a mash up of Disney Villains- like a re-theme to RnRC but with Disney Villains...Toy Story will serve the need of giving kids some wonderful fun options for rides and entertainment. As will some of the shows that probably stick around. No reason they can't add a little thrill. I still think with ToT and the new Villains show and F! all dealing with dark and spooky elements that that area of the park may get a light theme of villains after all =)
Ya that would never happen...

So, I guess you thing that the Cats and Phantom runs on Broadway went too long (not to mention the many clones of the show around the country)? Many shows on Broadway run as long as they are making a profit. Classics and popular shows run long. Others have a very short run. If the two at Disney are still popular and filling the theaters, there would not be much incentive to take a risk on a new show that might not have the same draw. If the shows are not drawing the desired attendance numbers, then it becomes a much easier decision.

Not that I am against a change - just giving some other input into this discussion. I have no idea what attendance numbers the shows have, nor do I really care. I'm not a big fan of Broadway-style shows anyway... (never have seen Cats or Phantom, but I did see BatB once).
With 20+ million guests at WDW and 5 rides at DHS, the shows will pack them in because there is nothing else to do in the park.

When watching other parks build new coaster, they seem to go up pretty fast. Holiday World just put up a steel coaster at a good rate. How long will it take for the TS coaster to go up and all of the theming that goes with it. Will TS land be done by 2017/18? This land along with SW land should be on the front burner.

Yup. And they have plenty of space behind Cirque.

A risk on the business side of things there though is that the attendance for these shows could take away from cirque, resulting in Cirque leaving as a tenant. So I can see a hesitation (if it ever was to be even proposed).

This is a good point. It might create some competition there since people are paying OOP.

Soooo....Toy Story Land is being replaced by a Broadway Musical Land?
Well, if we want to try and bring this thread back on topic, the hint was mermaid will host a Toy Story Musical.

I know I kinda started the Broadway discussion, but this thread probably isn't the place for a broad discussion on it seeing as this is the TS thread.
