Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

As far as Slinky being slower.. I guess I didn't really know what to expect. It was breezy.. exciting enough for the two rides I took.. And you get a great view of Star Wars and Tower of Terror. I've only been on Seven Dwarfs maybe 10 times and it didn't really feel as fast or exciting as that (probably the lack of little drops and turns).. the first "drop" (near Jessie) and the second launch are probably the most 'intense' parts of the ride.

Funny since a lot of people on here constantly said that the was no chance the land being finished by opening...

Looks good but absolutely no excuses for not squeezing atleast 1 more flat ride in there. They’re extremely cheap to make for a company like Disney. Still there’ll be people who visit who won’t know the Toy Story Mania situation, and when that’s considered it will appear a well fleshed out land.

Well, they're obviously behind schedule if they couldn't offer their most valued guests (APs) a preview. Saw many, many disappointed people being told its for cast members only. APs are not happy and rightly so

Very unlikely. The schedule ahead of June 30 is full of Cast Previews and then travel agents and press.

It’s actually not 100% show-ready. Thus no guests. CMs can handle the fact that there is a little more painting and other finishing touches and they need bodies in seats to get CMs running the rides up to snuff before June 30.

Pandora wasn't show ready during AP previews. Lots of exposed lighting and electrical in the plants

I was not impressed with TSL. It’s cute but that’s it. I liked the Aliens better than Slinky. Mostly because the music in Aliens plus the sudden turns make it really fun. Slinky is ok, but I was expecting a more thrilling ride. It’s going to be a favorite for families with little kids. The animatronic at the end is cool. I’m guessing that at night the land is going to be way prettier with all those hanging lights.

I think it’s a nice addition to Hollywood Studios, but I was expecting more.

No one should be comparing TSL to the original tram tour... because that's not what it replaced. It replaced the 25-minute, dumbed down version.

Plus actual backstage back lot. DHS's footprint expanded with TSL! (R.I.P. Earful Tower)

I'm an AP, and a huge Toy Story fan, and I'm not offended there weren't any AP previews. Previews are a perk, not a guarantee. I'll just be braving opening weekend, like we planned all along, preview or not.

When TSL opens, I'm having a feeling riding the rides at night might be a different experience.

Um okay.....Yeah, I would definitely like to see a speedway with pink cars or vans from the 1960's. Ah let's not forget that weird cart where Mr Potato head is in and the other thing with Woody and Buzz (I can't even understand what is that). Great ideas! (sarcasm )
