^ This is a fun 'cardboard' entrance to Toy Story Mania, with the wait and return times in text balloons next to Jessie and Rex.

^ I wonder what this white area in the box is going to be, and if it will move. This would have been a great place for the Mr Potato Head animatronic, talking to passersby as he does at DCA.

They did confirm he would be back

Yes, that has been the rumor, but the recent aerial photos shows them installing a gate at the far end which I don't see why they would do if it was going to be backstage.
Don't they seal off entry from all directions to keep those pesky wandering guests out of areas that they aren't supposed to be in. I would have been surprised if they didn't install an industrial type gate on that side especially when it is right along side an access road.

Both sides of the gate will supposedly be backstage.

That's what people are discussing right now

Yes, but it also is an access road running between the two lands. There would have to be a way to limit access even within backstage. I'm just guessing here, but, of all the things in the world that there are to worry about, I can't really be all that concerned about a gate in or out of that area. Really, it is a very definite "who cares" moment for me.

There will be a Green Army Men Sarge lead show in some capacity either for opening day/early hype time for this land but I am not sure if the entertainment will last long(a year or two) even beyond that.

Also, that is not very exciting but at least it is a covered extended queue? That would appear that is all that is? I guess it is better than getting actual carnival games taking up space and at least it is covered.

If it's not becoming backstage it will just be a random weird dead end with the Cars meet. I can't see them leaving that street open when it has no use.
I wonder if they may treat Pixar Place kinda similar to Mainstreet East Bypass area.

Put in the backstage gate at the rear of Pixar Place and put another gate at the front also. Then they could use it mostly for backstage processes but also open up for special guest events, or something along those lines. Especially since it is already themed for guests currently.

I haven't seen anyone say they were "worried" about this, it's just an interesting point of discussion. If it's not something that interests you then just don't respond.

The one thing that always nags at me when I look at the overhead shots of TSL is the break between it and SW:GE. That service road at the bottom of the image will stay, but I wonder how they are going to close it off. Just gate it or do a quick tree planting to break the site line into the SW construction?

It'll look better once SWGE opens, but pretty crappy until then.

Why? I simply stated why I thought it was there, and then someone said, but, it is to another backstage and I stated that it was also an access road connection and therefore might be the reason.

You guys are far more knowledgeable about the inner workings of Disney, but, this one has you thrown. Perhaps the answer is as simple as the problem. But, you are right, I shouldn't be allowed to express my beliefs especially since you self appointed experts already have the answers. Oh, wait, you don't do you?

Oh well. I didn't become confrontational, I didn't challenge anyone else's opinions, I just threw in another thought about it. But, I will take your advice and no longer do anything like that on this topic. Perhaps they will hang a sign that simply says.... "Gateway to No Reason!" And another one of my opinions on the subject is that it must be a slow news day.
