Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

It’s the Pizza Planet Play Set! Anything and everything can be a toy!
That seems to be what's going on here - "Andy plays with toys that happen to look exactly like complex theme park attractions so it makes sense that the giant versions just look like theme park attractions! It's a coherent theme!"

It is kind of amazing that, in multiple attempts, WDW has never gotten something that actually looks like the Pizza Planet in the movie.

There some "barrel of monkeys" in front of the large fence on the side -- is that a M&G area?

Based on the model from one mans dream you can see the slinky dog dash has 9 slots for guests, im not sure if you can get more than one person in each slot or not im assuming so? Also you can see that 3 ride vechiles are out at the same time so that would infer at least 27 people at a time, im not sure the duration of the ride time.. Just trying to figure out ride times, and ride capacity.

So the real question is... WHERE THE HE!_!_ IS MR. POTATO HEAD?

Three on the track and I'd assume one in the load station, maybe one in the unload as well. That'd be four or five.

But I wouldn't assume the vehicles were positioned accurately on the model.

Maybe Mr Potato Head is chilling with Luxo the lamp. Is he still up there?

Toy Story Midway Mania! has always included the premise of Andy having a midway game toy set.

His point is that they aren't getting rid of the word "Midway" from the name.

Imagineering wanted the name to be Toy Story Midway Mania, but Marketing wanted it to be Toy Story Mania, and so the two departments have called it a different name ever since. A real petty fight which I'm sure you're aware of. Tokyo's version, which opened four years later in 2012, is simply Toy Story Mania both on signs and in advertisements. So it seems marketing has been gaining ground, and the concern was that they'd win over the new signage in TSL.
