I'm trying to make sense of the transition area here. Interesting placement of that new paved road, for construction only? I thought the access road would be a bridge over the transition tunnel but I can't see that yet, here.
Are you talking about the place that the upper arrow is pointing too? If so didn't that backstage road exist since the park was first built? The second, might just be temporary for construction purposes. That equipment is quite heavy and considering the time that is spent in that area a semi-permanent/temporary road might have been put in place.

Well there's obviously a lot more to talk about with there being this much recent news, something rare for Disney. For the announcements I've been about half positive (Star Wars, Mickey Railway, Guardians, new transportation) and half negative (Tron, Mission Space, Toy Story, Ratatouille but only how long its taking).

So I'm curious to see what their definition of "Summer" is here. I'm going to assume they mean any time between June and August. We'll be visiting in late May next year. I'll be curious to see what happens.

Based on the current progress, they should be able to have this done by the start of the summer. Soft opening in May wouldn't surprise me.

Huh, the base of the supports for Slinky Dog look to have a blue plastic-y piece to them. This isn't there now and wasn't on the original concept art.

With GMR going down in August, I'd almost expect a TSL soft open with DHS having next-to-no attractions left.
