No, of course not. :)
But concept art tells a lot- especially when themed elements have been dropped from the initial proposition.

Well your comments are very harsh and state that you've made up your mind about this land based on nothing but subject to change artwork.

We have no clue how this land will feel when there, no clue if the concept art lacks things they are planning to add. Yet you've already declared this land a waste.

The land is not a new design concept. There are already two Toy Story Playlands that utilize the same story and design intent.

What are we expecting for a track length for Slinky Dog Dash? I have no gauge based on what's already in place and the concept art. Are we expecting 3000 feet of track and maybe a minute and a half ride length?

I think the land will be cute in a minimalist kind of way. There are plenty of photos on line that show similarly themed lands in Paris and Hong Kong and soon Shanghai. But it's all very carnival like. I know everything can't be Pandora, but it certainly could have been more.

Let me add this- I was there just after opening in 1989. Even though the park was small, it was beautiful and elegant, just classy. The new direction with Toy Story Land seems just the opposite- and I love those movies...

Hey @MansionButler84 and @PorterRedkey. Can either of you roller coaster tycoons ;) estimate the duration of the ride from what you know about it? Thanks.

If the ride is over 90 seconds I would be surprised. If you consider RnRC is about 75 seconds from launch to the end brakes, I think this will be similar, depending if they stop you for the second launch or if it is a rolling launch. You should be on and off in a little over 2 minutes.

That said, they are so many variables I don't know, so this is just a guesstimate. :) @MansionButler84 is a much better source for insider info, so he may have a better idea than I do.

I did some really rough measurements in Google Earth and 3000 feet seems reasonable.

3000 ft of track with an average speed of 25mph would be about 82 seconds long. The faster the average speed, the shorter the ride.

Average 20 mph with 3000 feet= 102 seconds
Average 25 mph with 3000 feet= 82 seconds
Average 30 mph with 3000 feet= 68 seconds
These are good estimates of length and ride time. Slight increases if they hold trains before the launches.

Agreed. That's what I meant by a full stop, versus a rolling stop, where your car is ramped back up to speed without stopping. I have a feeling we may get a full stop, but that is just a guess.

Do you think they will run 4 trains? Also, do you know if it will have its own unload section like Everest or will the unload/load station be combined?

Fair enough, but this is a different country, size, budget, park, etc. I think it is completely unfair to say that this will likely be a disappointment or definitely will be, as others have said, simply because they don't like what was done previously. It's like judging a sequel to a movie based on concept art and the fact that you didn't like the first one. Even if the sequel has new actors, new writers, and a new director.
