Here's the current configuration:

This is highly inaccurate most likely but it should give people a general idea of the reconfiguration

Thanks!

So FP will be even more invaluable than stand-by: you get your own ride without any merging and you don't have to walk 100 yards just to exit. :)

At least Stand-by-ers won't be psychologically traumatized by seeing FPers jumping ahead of them.

You and I both know that makes no sense operationally.

And that the percentage of capacity dedicated to FP varies throughout the day. There will continue to be a single merge point allowing access to all three tracks.
It should be around half way across the current queue hall. Standby will end the mother of all switchbacks here from the southern side of the queue configuration. Fastpass has the luxury of a dedicated land to the north.

I don't know why it's so hard to comprehend going from Muppets to Star Wars? Transitions would be nice, things making sense together would be nice but why is this so hard to grasp? I mean, look at the park ... not saying it's right, but you're in a theme park.

Meh diagon ally transitions seamlessly...go figure.

I would really be glad if Toy Story Land were to use Story Engine
(for reference: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...disney-parks-panel.926119/page-6#post-7667347).
With TSMM, much like with the upcoming Millennium Falcon ride, the guest has control of how well he/she does. There are very few (only 2, soon to be 3?) attractions for which that's the case. So the new land would be a fine place to incorporate the technology.

I'm thinking, before Mr. Johnson boards for a second time, the CM could say something like "Don't let your six-year-old totally whoop you again. That was embarrassing!" I'd love to see the shocked look on his pale face... priceless! But that simple moment would become a memory for Mr. Johnson, and if he has a good personality, it'd be a positive memory.

The risk involved (in this scenario, the chance that Mr. Johnson does not react well) is what would hold WDW back. But I think it is a risk that could pay off big-time.

Not only would Story Engine enhance the experience, it would also be a great way to test the technology, work out the kinks, and gauge guest reactions before it enters the spotlight upon Star Wars Land's opening.

Even if they don't take it very far, a simple thing I'd most definitely like to see is my "personal best" displayed along with the daily and monthly high scores at the end of TSMM. I've ridden that ride more times than you should know, it is one of my favorites, but I don't recall my highest score. It'd be a useful thing for Disney to display that requires no extra personnel and/or effort, just a computer system.

Thanks for the images, they're great.

So much room for a flat-ride and a largely bare kiddie-coaster...

As much as I'm looking forward to SWL and think Pandora looks pretty, TSL remains a gigantic speed-bump for ramping up any hope that Disney may have learned from past mistakes and changed course.
