If you say so.And I'm simply a rethemed paramecium.

Frontierland actually has 4 attractions
Adventureland has 4 attractions
Liberty Square has 3 attractions
Thank you, that's what I was trying to get across in my original post. You need to compare apples to apples. Toy Story land has had two "rides" announced. Advntureland only has 3 rides and Frontierland only 2 (3 if you count the boat ride over to Tom Sawyer's island). There are other attractions in Adventureland and Frontierland and could possible be other attractions in Toy Story land.
I do. Calling this project a rethemed Barnstormer and teacups is like calling Carsland a rethemed Autopia and teacups. The hyperbole here is astonishing. If you say so.

TSL isn't any less than many of the lands in MK, and those lands function just fine.
Well, it certainly is comparable to those lands on their opening day.Thank you, that's what I was trying to get across in my original post.

With everything we know, Slinky is not just a retheme of Barnnstormer.Well it doesn't really matter. If what they've said is actually ALL the public is getting out of these new lands (and no changes to the plan happens between now and the ground-breaking on construction) then they're going to be extremely unimpressive. We already have the Goofy coaster and Mad Tea Cup ride in MK.......we don't need a slightly changed up and re-themed version being the two defining attractions in the new Toy Story land. That doesn't impress.
It is all part of the theme. You are walking into The world Andy built. That in its self is going to be cool and an experience. People need to realize that the coaster etc will look like a kid set it up and made it with his imagination.
Why I am excited for the super launch as that is something I would have done and my kids do now when they play.
I believe the land will be very well done. I also believe more is to come but right now I will enjoy what they have showed us. Waiting for more but it will come.
Details still rolling out.
I don't really see where the earful tower would even fit tbh. The park isn't acting like a movie studio anymore, and it would be out of place to be seen in Toy Story land. I liked it for what it was when it fit thematically, but I think it should be gone now.Does this mean the Earful Tower is in danger or will it be relocated?
As for the recent posts, when was the last time Disney even added a section with more then two attractions? I can't think of anytime.

When you say "Super Launch" are you talking about the foot bridge from the concept art that walks over top of the track (that has "Super Launch" printed on it)?
If a roller coaster through a toybox with 7DMT's swaying cars and a launch isn't a compelling family coaster, I don't know what is. But I like toys. This land is meant to please families who have long been complaining about DHS. If you want an immersive land for adults (that non-toddlers will also appreciate) they announced another land yesterday and another in 2011.So you're saying you actually see something new, creative, and original about the two announced attractions that might make this something to look forward to? Do tell.

I fear she will regret that wording. The theming looks wonderful, but nothing seems to approach the WOW factor of the Cadillac mountains in this land. Star Wars land on the other hand...Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm very excited for Toy Story Land and the theming it will bring. So long as they deliver on the comparison to Carsland "that's exactly the level of immersion we are aiming for, for Florida" comment that Kathy Mangum said
You just described Space Mountain. A long kiddie coaster in the dark with laser pointers. Disney is not known for long, intense coasters.Oh right.....it may be slightly longer in length and ride time. Otherwise, it IS.
Then they really shouldn't try and promote it as something to get excited and worked up about if it's simply going to be something no "less than many of the lands in MK". Why not really put the Imagineers to work on a new and creative kind of attraction to give the public? Re-theming rides based on already-existing rides in the other parks just smacks of laziness to me.
