I guess you could be right, but, I don't take my Disney as seriously as some of you folks do. I see it for what it is not what I demand it be. If what it is isn't good enough for me, then I don't go there. If that is selling out, OK, I really wish someone could tell me how it is selling out since I have no power to do anything else other then go there or not. I can not second guess what they intended it to be just because I wanted it different. If it had been up to me, Carsland would be in the process of being built as we speak, rock work and all. But it isn't and I cannot control that no matter how much whining I do. So, I will take it for what it is. I will go there and see what it is. If I like it I might go back, if I don't, I won't. I'm not losing anything, they are. At this point if they put in a pinball machine in that area, it would be a massive improvement over an empty fenced in area.Folks can't have it both ways. You can't write off TSL as being unimpressive but fine because it's a "kiddie-land" but also suggest it is ok that it has a height requirement locking out the target crowd. This is the same issue Stitch's Great Escape suffers from--the concept is quite juvenile, intended for a crowd that cannot ride due to ride mechanism.
Personally, I don't think this was intended to be a kiddie land as some have suggested. I think they really thought it would pass as our Carsland. Hell, they actually had the audacity to compare it to Carsland. This is a slight downgrade from Radiator Springs Racers, to be sure. Especially now that the rock work was cut.
As for the people that cannot ride Stitch because of the ride mechanism... don't blame the ride on people inability to figure out how things work and adjust to it. It's just a ride no one is performing brain surgery on them. What a bunch of weak humans we have been creating lately. If I could change anything that would be my focus.
