I did! I thought it really added to the experience. I had never seen the moviesnin a theater, and noticed things like dents and scuffs on baseboard and doors.

Trivia and making it seem like characters running the projector was cool!

I just got home from the theater. Really enjoyed it - I hadn't seen either of them in quite awhile (it's been YEARS since I saw TS2), and I thought the 3D effect was fun. I am getting too old to sit in a theater seat for 3 hours straight, though - I think everyone in the theater could hear my knees screaming when I stood up to leave!!

On a related note, the 3D preview for A Christmas Carol made this movie look even more awesome. I had seen a trailer in 2D, but the 3D effect is going to add so much more. I am really looking forward to this one coming out in November.

I agree...it gave me a whole new perspective on the movie...my husband and I loved it!

It's funny that you mentioned the dents in the walls because I noticed the same thing...I also noticed that when Buzz and Woody were in Sid's room and Woody was under the milk crate the tool box above him said Binford Tools...which was from Home Improvement!

I was a little disappointed by the preview for TS3 though...I would have liked a little bit more...but regardless I still can't wait!!!

Friday was my son's 9th bday so we all went and had a blast!! i loved reading the book titles in andy's room. not to be a downer, but there really wasn't that much 'reach out and grab it" 3D, as it was not originally created that way. I think we were expecting it to be like philharmagic, wewre almnost everything seems touchable. We have all seen the movies so many times, we were mothing along the whole time. we may go again next weekend! :ROFLOL:

We're going tomorrow night when it's "Stimulus Tuesday" at our local theater. Popcorn and a Coke for $1 each! Yum! (Have to save up for our next trip to the World!)

I noticed that too! I was amazed at the detail in the bottom and sides of the doors and trim.

The 3-D was great, we really enjoyed it even though God only knows how many times we have seen them both.

My wife and I saw it on Saturday and really enjoyed it. She had never seen Toy Story 2 so it was easy to convince her to go and check it out.

I really liked the 3D effects as well. Thought it was a great addition to the movies. I'm already looking forward to Toy Story 3 to see where the story goes.

I'm sure we will end up going to A Christmas Carole this Holiday Season as well. That looks very cool. Plus, I'm a big Jim Carrey fan!
