I figured the $hapek regime has something against this legendary attraction simply because it carries a “twilight zone” theme. Then again, plenty of stuff at Disneyland has remained broken for years even past some refurbs (see Splash Mountain)

Bad news everyone, I have been watching some recent videos of ToT and I noticed in this video that the 7th Hortons doors weren't opening on the Foxtrot side, the door disease has spread from the Echo side:

why dont they just fix it?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I have been on Haunted Mansion once where this happened in the stretching room. It was bad.

This was the case during the parks reopening after Covid to keep up with regulations.

The disease is that Disney doesn't fix anything unless the ride can't operate. Even then, it will be a half-hearted fix on the cheap.

All of them were working in the latest stream I watched, however since a few years ago, the 7th/8th floor Horton doors will close prematurely at times, sometimes just one side of it(half closed) while the other stays open. After it closes, it then reopens again. It mostly only happens during the start of the Fear Every Drop sequence.
