This sounds pretty good I wish they would keep it all year round and make it a TS option.
I don't think it's ever been open when I've visited is January/February. The Plaza will be closed during our visit this February and another TS option would be great. Hopefully it will be successful during the Christmas rush and they'll keep it going forward.

Sounds great! Shame it won't be around for long. I have to wonder how many guests leave MK or WDW in general hungry for a meal because there are no seats available at any of the TS restaurants.

Agreed. It was open this past Thanksgiving, but last year at the holidays the one day we went to MK it was shuttered. Between that place, the Diamond Horseshoe, and what had been the noodle station in Tomorrowland, a little more consistency would be nice....

A few years ago the Adventureland Veranda was open and serving food so we stopped in for a quick bite. Although in years past I personally around the holidays left hungry because I refused to wait in long lines (out the door) to even get something to eat at a counter service restaurant. I want to be able to sit down eat and relax without it having to be a stressful experience. I think Disney has forgotten this and only looks to run everything @ 100% maximum so they can make as much money as possible. Attendance is climbing and over the years they have shuttered either seasonally or completely:
Adventureland Veranda
Tomorrowland Terrace
Aunt Poly's
Diamond Horseshoe
Tortuga Tavern (El Pirata)

The addition of only BOG

It's an unfortunate list indeed. I loved the noodle station, and we've always enjoyed Tortuga. And BoG always has a line, although I'll give them credit for their moving people through at a decent pace....

Make it year round, put the food on real china, get rid of the reservations, and you've got an option much like Disneyland has in New Orleans Square. If MK really needs another ADR location, open up the old Adventureland Verandah location, and put characters in there. The MK is in dire need of a location that offers this type of buffet WITHOUT a reservation.

It appears they will still be open for the normal lunch hours (if there are normal hours with this one LOL) with the regular menu.
