Hi everyone,

I was wondering what are your top 5 things to do at the Parks in WDW? Just keen to see if I am missing anything out.

Thanks
Chris:)

I guess the first question is do you want general answers or specific answers?

My general answers are:
1. Ride any new or renovated attraction: Haunted Manstion, SSE, Toy Story Mania
2. Try a new restaurant that we haven't eaten at before
3. Ride or see the classic attractions in each park: Pirates, Muppets, Star Tours,
4. Ride the Magic Kingdom Mountain Trifecta
5. Ride or see the newer but not necessarily classic attractions: Mickey's Philharmagic, Safari, Dinosaur!, Buzz Lightyear, Kali River, Rockin Roller coaster, It's a Bug's Life, Test Track, Soarin', Maelstrom, Nemo - the Musical, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, etc

Specifically:

1. Ride Expedition Everest
2. Ride Tower of Terror
3. Ride Rockin' Roller Coaster
4. Ride Magic Kingdom Mountain Trifecta (had to get all three in there)
5. Ride Soarin'

I'll be there in 2 weeks to try out my plan.

General:
1. Go to The Magic Kingdom
2. Go to EPCOT Center
3. Go to Disney-MGM Studios (aka Disney's Hollywood Studios)
4. Go to Animal Kingdom
5. Go to one or more of the water parks.

Specific:
1. Ride Spaceship Earth at least 3 times...or at least this used to be one of my top 5. The lame cartoon touch-screen thingy at the end has quite possibly removed SSE completely from the top five, but I'm willing to let it remain in this position until I have a chance to view it in context of the attraction. As of now, I've just done the "choose your own adventure" part at Innoventions in Disneyland, and I was VERY underwhelmed.
2. Visit The Great Movie Ride at least twice. I only hit it once on my last trip and I felt like I'd forgotten something afterwards.
3. Enjoy Carousel of Progress. Yes, the finale should be updated, but it still never ceases to amaze me.
4. Check out Finding Nemo: The Musical. Proof that when Disney is on their game, they're REALLY on their game.
5. Ride, re-ride, re-re-ride, re-re-re-ride, re-re-re-re-ride, etc. Crush n' Gusher. No water slide has ever made me openly laugh like I did on this one. Disney really needs to build a water park in Anaheim with something like Crush n' Gusher.

1. Use Fastpass to full extent.
2. Stay at a Disney-Resort, no compromises here. A Disney Resort quadruples the fun and experience of a WDW-trip.
3. Take a park hopper option, especially when you are at a disney-resort, to fully exploit the extra magic hours.
4. Visit ALL parks, so stay at least 4 (better 5) days
5. Avoid peak hours at major attractions, visit smaller attractions with less waiting times.
