yeah, they don't have to be a 'band'. any musical artist or group of artist will do. i was just using 'band' as an umbrella term.

P.S.: My taste is so eclectic that I edited my selections after taking more time to think on them; I originally had CCR in my 5 slot, but TP&TH really deserve a spot on my list. This group is pretty much my final answer.
