Forbes, the internationally renowned business magazine, has elected the ten most fun theme parks worldwide. In this comparison, six European theme parks are among the top ten.
Europa-Park, with 3,7 million visitors last year the largest seasonal leisure park worldwide, is the only German leisure park on Forbes’ top ten list. In addition, it is also the only owner-managed family business. Among the criteria of the top ten list were the uniqueness of attractions and the history of the parks. Also the editorial office of “Readers Digest”, the monthly issued lifestyle magazine, has presented the high-speed roller coaster “Silver Star” in its regular feature “The best in Europe”.

1. Alton Towers, Staffordshire, England

2. Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay, Florida, USA

3. Disneyland Park, Anaheim, California, USA

4. Europa-Park, Rust, Germany

5. Gardaland, Castelnuovo, Italy

6. Liseberg, Gothenburg, Sweden

7. Lotte World, Seoul, South Korea

8. Port Aventura, Salou, Spain

9. Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, New Jersey, USA

10. Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen, Denmark

Wouldn't it be cool if all 11 Disney parks were in the top 11.
Damn DCA and WDSP. HK can't be blamed....yet. The current Top 10 is ruled by Disney though :sohappy: Just wish they owned it, although 8/10 is nothing to sneeze at.

It is even better that we have the top 5!!

Plus, the 2/10 aren't even in the U.S.A!!

Maybe with the addition of Honk Kong, Lotte World will be out of the picture!

How far is Hong Kong from Seoul? (I'm not the best at Geography)

What are they doing with all these AMUSEMENT parks on a THEME park list. If you aren't smart enough to know the difference, you aren't qualified to make a list in a respected magazine.

I go to Great Adventure many times a month, and I am even perplexed to see that on there as a top park. It is improving but does not deserve to be number 9 when Cedar Point or any other Disney park is not even on there. I would even bet that some of the other parks are not even that great.

If Seoul is Halifax, Nova Scotia,

Hong Kong is Orlando, FL.

That's a general guestimation of both the distance between the two cities and their relative N/S/E/W positions. :)
