Two of America's female role models face off tonight in a fantasy boxing match...

Former Olympic figure skater Tonya (the hatchet) Harding, best known for her attack on rival Nancy Kerrigan years ago, will battle Paula (the Nose) Jones, who accused Bubba Clinton of sexual harassment, will battle in Fox’s “Celebrity Boxing” show.

These girls have worked very hard to get to this point in their life so I urge everyone to watch it.:hammer:

>>>I think the winner of this fight may have the honors of duking it out with our little Lolita from Long Island, Amy Fisher.

America, the Land of Opportunity.

Amy's backing out was not her doing. Her parole board would not let her out of the state and that it would have been a violation of her parole.

I know! Backing out of a fight with Tanya! It's not like her ex-hubby is going to be around. I'm sure she could have taken her! :D

Seriously, Fox is living up to their reputation by taking prime time television to yet another new low. I mean honestly, how much further can they lower the bar on 'quality' television? They swore that they were done with the trash-reality shows when Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire blew up so badly in their face but that only lasted for a few months. Is there nothing they won't do for RATING$? I still maintain that if there is ever a public execution broadcast by a non-cable television channel, it will be fox that carries it hands down.

Then you've got:

Greg Brady VS Danny Partridge and

Vanilla Ice VS Todd Bridges (Different Strokes)

Man, are these guys hard up for money or what?:hammer:

...Amy may have backed out for one of two reasons:

1. She wanted to fight in a motel room on Long Island where she does her best work......OR

2. She wanted to fight a female.

This is so ridiculous.......how can Tonya not beat her........Paula Jones already said she doesn't want her "new nose" to get hit. So she's gonna get her handed to her.

And Danny Bonaducci is gonna waste Barry WIlliams, Danny is a nutcase, he's been in jail a few times and he's into the workouts(from what I saw on Behind the Music).

I think 3rd matchup is even.

I meant that the whole thing is a disgrace, not that her dropping out was disgraceful! LOL!

I watched it last nite. Is Fox hard up for shows or what? I thought that Glutton Bowl was bad enough. Paula Jones always said that she was never after money. What a bunch of crap, she would do anything for a $. What a media .

You see, that's just it. People talk about what crap it is but they still watch it and that's what Fox is becoming notorious for: Stuff people are ashamed to say they watched... Did anyone else see it? I'll be honest, I flipped it on but when I saw the graphics with the punching gloves and the fireball explosion in the beginning I flipped it off. I wasn't going to watch it at all but the morbid curiosity took hold. As soon as it started and I saw that, I snapped right back to reality. I'm just curious of what anyone who watched it thought of it. Was it as bad as it looked like it was going to be in the first one or two minutes?..

I watched part of it and never will again....I promise. This falls into the Jerry Springer & Howard Stern category of media PUS.
From what I saw of it, there was ZERO entertainment value. It wasn't even funny.

Fox Cable is #1 and attracts a huge, highly educated audience....Fox Broadcast must be trying to corner the market on the rest of the population.

I only got to watch the first two, because my favorite show "the Job" comes on at 9:30.

I had to watch just to see how hard Barry Williams was gonna get it. It wasn't even fair, Bonaduce is a mad man. It was corny, it was stupid, but it is entertaining to see Greg Brady get man-handled by a guy 6 inches shorter than him.

I believe it beat out the West Wing and all others in ratings. So, of course it did it's job, and we can look foward to a couple more programs.

I'm ready to get pounded here *as I cover my head in embarassment*. But I watched it. I have been having a horrible couple of weeks, and I watched this crazy show and never laughed so hard watching Paula Jones running from Tonya Harding at times   I'm sorry, but I guess I just needed to hit rock bottom, and watching a Fox reality show just pretty much puts ya there.

Jeez..I feel so much better though
