And a planter from the hub for comparison...

Id agree if the planters were smaller. It’s just not consistent with the rest of the park. I agree that they can put some flowers over night. Not banking on it though. That grass planter is so wide open it’s begging for a support dog and a frisbee.
I would love to play frisbee with Pluto at Disneyland.

Well I can't help but feel completely underwhelmed and disappointed. Until they give the land a proper overhaul this will be how I will always remember Tomorrowland's entrance.

I also don't think l can ever completely forgive Tony Baxter for destroying TL, especially its grand entrance, a terrible decision which ultimately got us here. I'm fine with change at Disneyland, in fact I celebrate it, but what I'm looking at is a huge step backwards even compared to the Baxter era cheesy space rocks. From the photos I can't help being reminded of Marriott's Great America circa 1977, and that isn't a compliment.

Looks like they've basically expanded the support dog area. I wonder if there was demand for it. I've never seen the support dog areas being used, but I'm sure they do from time to time. Maybe they are going to theme the Orbitor mechanical shed into something related to the support dog area. Pluto's home perhaps? lol
