By the look of it last time I was there, the only option for the remains of Disneyland's People Mover is to tear it down. It doesn't look salvageable.

Demolition is/was scheduled during the next land makeover.

Good. It's a bit of an eyesore now.

Although the remains of the track do provide shade and rain cover (when California actually gets rain), if you're waiting for someone to finish Star Tours. That's about the only useful function it seems to serve these days.

I don’t know. I still live in hope until it happens one way or the other.

They seem to be keeping and doing the area around Progress fairly nice, but everywhere else is hideous. Its just mind boggling how there is no rhyme or reason to any of the tomorrowland changes.

Things like this always interest me and I want to know where the idea comes from and who makes it happen. Like where did they find these trees? Obviously they were specially grown/acquired. Who decided they were needed and in that location? Did a tomorrowland manager request them? Did horticulture just decide Tomorrowlands getting them? Is there a tree manager that determines when and where trees are needed? Can he or she find some for the backside of France and near the skyliner queues?
