Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters was fit into the CircleVision theaters at Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris but the CicleVision theater at Magic Kingdom is somehow too small?
In virtually everything I've seen & read about the TSI closure the last 14+ months, the "CAPACITY!" argument was loudly echoed over and over. The space originally occupied by Circlevision seems comparable to the space of the perpetually-popular Buzz. Likewise, Stitch's footprint seems decent too (and it's currently little more than a glorified break room right now?). That's a lot of "capacity" (nevermind it's central location). So, my "theory" (hope?) is that upgrades at both WDW's & DL's Tommorrowlands (based on many reasons discussed here and elsewhere) will be the major theme of the "theme park" panel of next years D23Expo (or am I being too optimistic lol?)I think you are going to partially get your wish. I think they will permanently close laugh floor in tomorrow land but move it to Monsters in DHS.
I think both the stitch area and Laugh floor area will end up permanently closed.
This will result in a net loss of attractions in MK which lowers costs for Disney, and Disney knows the MK packs them in no matter what is offered.
