It Became Bathrooms..Crappy Idea huh?

Yes not a great idea!!
The bathrooms have always been there so technically they didn't replace them, they just never removed them. That might even be a first for Disney. What I always say...you can never have enough bathrooms. You never know when you're going to need one.

That is true..Yet no one paid attention to it since there was a Ride on top of it..

There was also the obnoxious people spitting and throwing things from the skyway buckets.

Very un-Disneylike.

I'm sorry. I only participated in this behavior once when I was 11 & made the mistake of getting into a bucket with my brothers (12 & 13 yros). We dropped red hots on people. It wasn't nice and looking back now I want to slap the sh-- out of myself. We were spotted and the CMs threatened to throw us out. I didn't hang out with my brothers much after that. They were too much trouble & stress.

It was sorta funny to see people jump if one landed on the ground next to them. Or feel of their heads because they thought they got pooped on by a bird. :angelic:

I find with Disney too often they will take things away because they are no longer practical but they should be updating and replacing previous concepts. The heart of what was so great in '92 when I first visited is slowly being eroded.

In '92 there were benches everywhere in the parks and I was grateful for a breather. Now they're taking the seating from eating places, Main St Bakery. Where's a person supposed to get a break? Off topic I know but I don't let things like that get in the get in the way:)

Yes...All they did was removed the second floor and the waterfall one of the last water features of Tomorrowland. It was also one of the better shaded areas in the park.

Shaded yes, thing to buy that make Disney money... not so much. Now all the shade areas have stuff to buy, buy, buy... Gotta keep that merchandise in front of the non riding customers.

it was an employee accidents do happen lets remember he was a person, who unfortunately died. In February 1999 a park custodian was killed when he was cleaning the platform and the skyway started unexpectedly because employee's didn't see him so they started the ride. He grabbed onto one of the vehicles for safety then fell 40 feet into a flower bed where afterwards he was rushed to the hospital and died of injurys later. However according to many sites the reason for closing the attraction were mostly economic.
So gravity is the reason? OUTLAW GRAVITY!!!!! DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN. After all if it saves one life it is worth it. While were at it outlaw water and bathtubs.

The year is 2032. You get in line for the bathroom. During your wait it is also a meet and greet with a non original "purchased" character right before the door. As you step up to the urinal there is a small window in front of you where you can buy concessions. Finally you exit through a gift shop.

By then scooters will outnumber walking guests and kids won't need strollers because they'll be in scooters as well.
Don't forget you will have to use your fastpass+'s for the day for this and have is planned 70 days prior to arrival.:D

Wow. What a nice looking building!

I was wondering why that corner where the bathrooms are appeared so plain and out of place... when was this torn out? :\

LOL no in fact I didn't even notice THOSE until I was on the Peoplemover and it paused momentarily and I happened to glance over and saw it. It got a shrug. Not even a shrug and a half.
