I mean, how much variation can you have when building the same room from the same movie?
The ride vehicles take up so much space that I feel like the ballroom scene loses some of its grandeur. The ceiling is also too low compared to the ballroom from the film.

The Florida ballroom has a somewhat low ceiling and is very long in order to accommodate as many tables as possible. It doesn't really match the shape of the one from the movie. I'm hoping the ride does.

Having jumbo Jacuzzi sized table wear doesn't look great as ride vehicles, but they obviously went for capacity and good sight lines.

Not much in BatB really screams potential ride vehicle, other than the carriage that takes Maurice back to the village, but it's enclosed and creepy looking:

I'm imagining an alternate BatB ride where it is the vehicle and the experience is more like Snow White, where you're chased through the forest by wolves and angry villagers before reaching the cursed castle where the Beast scares you before Belle shows up and breaks the spell.

Hm, until we see footage inside the ride, I'll be giving them the benefit of the doubt. Considering how iconic the ballroom is and how tall the show building is in Tokyo, I'm sure a lot of the film's fans would be disappointed if this seventh (and final, if those blueprints posted earlier are to be believed) scene takes place in a replica of one of the Be Our Guest Restaurant's dining rooms. Maybe they'll use forced perspective/old school Imagineering tricks (think Haunted Mansion) to make the room look taller than it is?

There's also Maurice's cart, and... this thing:

Well, I suppose the live-action delivered more on the vehicle front (and would've been a nice Easter egg too, seeing as the ride leans more into the original animation).

So the Side of the Bay is what looks like colorful lego blocks while the other side one looking at the fanastysea hotel/Monorail is more like a chalk Drawing for the toy story hotel

The Show building for Frozen is massive, Considering it's going be an all original storyline after the events of the First Frozen film, An interesting note is that Some of Big names from the Frozen franchise are working on this ride, with likes of Jennifer Lee and others, The big question is
Will we get a new track for this ride.

What type of ride technology will they implement on this one.

An original ride storyline? Interesting! Wondering if this will be a sequel of sorts to Frozen II alongside Frozen Fever and Olaf's Frozen Adventure (since I assume it would be canon in the Frozen Universe once the ride opens).

I finally realized they are building a "Backstage" tunnel. It's visible running a lot of the length of the Monorail and re-emerges to then takes the bridge over what will eventually be the lands entrance.

Very Tokyo DisneySea to hide more arteries cutting through the park.

Not that it's anything amazing, but I hope they don't get rid of Jasmine's Flying Carpets just to make a sidewalk into the new area.

The one unfortunate side affect of the Fantasyland expansion was a net gain of 0 for new rides. I don't want more addition by subtraction.

I hadn’t noticed that!

I do have a thought. I think it might be for guests. Follow it from the road along the bay, to the guest parking lot. Perhaps it even has underground parking?

It wouldn’t really be necessary for backstage access considering the entire perimeter around the parks are continuous without it. It also looks unnecessarily wide just for backstage traffic.

I'm wondering about that too, although I feel they would have announced it or started the demolition process already if they planned to remove it. It looks like the main entrance to the land will be where the bridge is located in that aerial shot posted above. I'm guessing the hills here will hide that backstage tunnel.

The only pathway leading to this area is a gate beside Sindbad. This area looks about as wide as the nearby pathways in Lost River Delta, so normal foot traffic shouldn't be an issue. However, it seems this area will be the only way in and out of Fantasy Springs. Unless they control the number of guests allowed in Fantasy Springs, I can see some major congestion in this area.

I'm guessing those who stay in the new hotel will have direct access as well.

Would be nice if DisneySea had two entrances like EPCOT. Would make it easier to get into the park for Official Hotel guests too.

At the very least, I think non-hotel guests should be able to use the hotel as an exit. If you wanted to go to Soaring or Tower of Terror from Fantasy Springs, taking the monorail back to the main gate would probably be faster than walking all the way back.

Maybe, merely just not to have traffic running directly in front of the hotel.

It could also be future proofing. I don't think the rest of the plot behind Tomorrowland will stay parking all that much longer.

I think there is also quite a bit of space beside Raging Spirits. There might be dual artery (one that sort of triangles in from Raging Spirits). But I also agree I really don't think they need to get rid of Jasmine's Flying Carpets.

But capacity wise, it's a major improvement, it's kinda impossible at some point to only add but not subtract.
I feel like replacing an outdated ride with a more immersive one with better capacity is still an upgrade.

i agree with the new fantasyland theatre the Showbase site can be the entrance to a new area behind tomorrowland. I’d love to see a fully fleshed out star wars land themed to the original trilogy (You could reorient star tours as part of the land as well) but Tokyo may well go for something more unique

I imagine Disney probably or will eventually pitch them Galaxy's Edge in that plot and Tokyo will say no; instead, they'll ask for some insane version of Tron with the Monorail going underneath it, a shooting ride with heavy integration of projection mapping, and a huge Blade Runner-esque hovercraft ride where huge miniature sets and projections create the illusion that there is infinite depth above and below you.

One shop, and a themed restaurant where steam is turned into food before your very eyes.
