Tokyo Disneyland Resort Expansion

Looking at the map of fantasy springs on the app it made me think sorta “Is there an argument to be made this expansion is too big”

I’m still incredibly excited don’t get me wrong, I’m going in October to all three Asian parks but they have scooped up basically all their future expansion land for this one massive expansion and made disneysea a nightmare to navigate (side note I wish general guests could exit through the hotel, staying at say the Hilton Tokyo bay and having to hike from arendelle all the way back to the front of Disneysea when my hotel is 300 meters away is going to be fun)

Wouldn’t it have been better to portion the expansion land in 2 and get 2 big expansions rather than 1 massive expansion. I don’t know I’m not an expert but the sheer size of the project is honestly confusing to me at this point if this makes sense

I think they will open up that exit to general guests once the initial hype for Fantasy Springs has died down. I doubt they plan to keep hotel access exclusive to reservations indefinitely.

As for the scale of the Fantasy Springs, I personally do prefer having this massive full-fledged land versus the recent new lands with just 1 or 2 attractions. They did use up the majority of their expansion space in the process, but there is still enough land left for one additional port in the future.

Do you think you could add the rides list to your "ranking" Fantasy Springs attractions list so we can gauge how these new experiences compare to already existing ones?

Rise of the Resistance, Mystic Manor, Frozen Ever After, Radiator Springs Racers, Enchanted Tale of Beauty and Beast
SweetDuffy101: I dont mean to bother you, but I am really interested to hear your response to the question above. If it falls to much into spoiler territory, or its to difficult to rank/compare all of these attractions, I totally understand.
1 FROZEN
2 PETERPAN
3 RAPUNZEL
4 TINKERBELL

I can’t agree with that whatsoever.

Under an “all things equal” theory as to quality of project(s) and in the context of this conversation only having something huge now is WAY better than having to settle for half now and wait years for the balance.

………..some of us might not be here in 5+years to enjoy the second installment, no?

Do you think frozen journey is a luxury version of frozen ever after? I think they share the let it go scene, or there will be a different interpretation in frozen journey?

It seems Frozen Journey is a re-telling of the first film, whereas Frozen Ever After is set after the film. As an example, compare the scenes where the characters sing "For the First Time in Forever".

I knew this point before, but I want to know if the production of Frozen Journey is more luxurious than the HKDL version of Frozen Ever After. In D23, the FJ version of Elsa AA looks the same as the HKDL’s FEA version, so I wonder if they share the Let it Go scene.

I would hope Frozen Journey managed to improve on that scene significantly, as I think it's one of the weaker scenes in Frozen Ever After. However, I do think they have plussed the Elsa AA in that scene slightly from the HKDL version. The movements and expressions seem even more dynamic.
