First, what time do you want to get to the resort? How long will you be there, ( we will be there in April for about for about 5 days ) We have yet to get our resort, but that won't be a problem, we have 4 to choose from. Have you thought about where you want to eat? What you want to eat? You need to explain this to who ever you want answers. :animwink: :D

Why would you want to spend your vacation at ASM? Most folks who stay there do so in order to vacation at WDW... :p

Seriously,

Get yourself an Unofficial Guide, read up on what there is to do and plan ahead. Make Advance Dining Reservations ASAP for restaurants you are interested in eating at.

You haven't indicated how many people are going. Are you solo? Just you and a significant other? Any kids? How many, how old? How long are you staying? Do you plan on going anywhere else [Seaworld, Universal Studios, Cape Canaveral...]?

I go with my son. We're usually there for a week or so and thus far we've only ventured outside WDW once in four trips [we went to Cape Canaveral]. We always get the Dining Plan and get very good value from it.

Without a lot more detail from you, asking for "tips" is sort of like asking 30,000 people "What should I do today?"

Pack a rain poncho. Extension cords are also handy to bring. Sun screen is a must. Comfy walking shoes are important. Moleskin if you have tender feet. Oh, and don"t forget to bring your sense of humor:lol: .

Without more details, I'll add cheap umbrellas to ponchos; go to your local dollar store and bring them with you. Plan your days by what you MUST do and fastpass accordingly. Bring cooler/water if you can. Other than that, just keep reading the boards and you should do ok.

O.K. here we go! We will be at WDW on Sunday, April 22 around 0600. We will be leaving out that Friday April 27 around noon maybe a little later! I have already booked our package for 4 nights and six days worth of tickets, with parkhoppers and the dinning plan! I have already booked our ADR's for Cindy's Royal Table, The Garden Grill, Sci-Fi and the Crystal Palace! I plan to make an ADR for Chef Mickeys one morning for breakfast or maybe at Cape May Cafe! It will be myself , my wife and our three children ages 8,4 and 3 at the time of travel! We do not plan on going anywhere but WDW! I am looking for best time to go to what parks etc. I have been 3 times before but can really only remember one , and that was Christmas of '03 and it was hectic everywhere all the time! Also hpw can I look up my reservation online? Thanks, Duck

Are you bringing or renting a car?

Never stayed at the values, but I've heard bus service is much much better at Pop. Someone might refute that comment, but if anyone can confirm it, you may want to consider seeing if you can't move over to Pop. Especially soncidering you're probably going at a crowded time, anything to speed up wait time to and from the parks would be a perk.

About the only thing Sci-Fi makes good are burgers and shakes, so, you know, hope you like burgers and shakes.

Try to get a Fastpass for a nearby attraction about 60-90 minutes after a reservation time at any restaurant near that attraction. For instance, if your Garden Grill reservation time is 6:30, try to pick up a Fastpass for Soarin' when they're in the 7:30-8:30 or 8-9 window. Crystal Palace for lunch at 1? Try to get FPs for Splash Mountani when they're at 2:30-3:30 or thereabouts. This way, after eating, you can hit the ground running to a major E-ticket attraction without a wait.

Finally, with three kids who are all pretty young, anticipate having any schedule you may make completely thrown off by an insane kid-need to meet Mickey or some other character immediately, or having to ride one particular ride over and over again. Not only should you anticipate it, you should plan on it. Maybe one of you can still do some stuff with the 8-year old one day while the other parent waits on a line with the younger ones, and then switch off the next day. And if there's one ride that your younger chilren go absolutely ape over, plan on going back to that park just before you leave for home, so they can do that ride one more time.

I am not able to stay at POP seeing as there are 5 of us traveling and Max. room occupancy is 4 at all the values! We are staying in the family suites at AS Music! Sorry should have made myself more clear! I'm not looking for a minute to minute list of things to do(trust me just day to day life cant even be planned with three kids)! I'm just looking for tips and hints, tricks you frequent flyers use and so on, to make things not seem so hectic! I was under the impression that the times at which I am traveling are no too crowded! I only remember Christmas crowds so anything else will seem slow........... I think! Thanks, Duck
