The ponds in Future world West are beginning to be re-filled with water. Although the Image fountain is still off

There was the sound of power tools emminating from the post show area of spaceship earth (It could be nothing)

There are a bunch of baby ducks and baby squirrels in future world now

ummm.... that's about it

My mother in-law would love the ducks. were all duck made when in america (for some reason)

hahaha stupid ducks ( i love them really) just while i was in sea world three years ago! i was walking over a small wodden bridge and i seena duck so made a quaking noise at it! and then it chased me for ages! its is know known at the "killer duck" (just thought id share):wave:

While at AK this June, I saw a bunch of people leaning over a bridge railing and oooing and awing. There was a momma and her ducklings swimming around below. I thought "all this hard work and imagineering and we go gaga over ducks". They were super cute, though.

On one of our visits to MK the family and I were at BTM and we saw a mother duck standing by the edge of the fence and yakking away like crazy, and many were wondering why. I discovered that her babies were stuck on the ground hiding behind a garbage can. I could not reach them to help them up, so my son stood on one side to make sure they don't escape and kind of shooshed them over to the side I was on and one by one I grabed them, a total of 7 all in my hands. ( they were soooooo soft too ) and I put them up where mom could see them as well as they see her, and everyone was together again and happy.:sohappy: Then I washed my hands several times.

We love to see the little rabbits that hop around earlier in the morning or late in the evening around the resorts. The seem to frequent Coronado Springs and POR, and I'm sure Fort Wilderness too. We used to make a game out of who could spot the most, but then people started cheating and it wasn't as fun anymore.

Cool...I hope they are still filled when I get there in the fall... I hate it when they have them drained...it takes away from the ambiance...

I like ducks...but I can do without the squirrels...got enough of them in my backyard!

If the lakes were just drained, I don't think you'll have to worry about them being empty in the fall. But I do agree, it does take away from the incredible ambience.
