From Sunday Morning, the BT speaking clock (dial 123 if your in the UK) will be voiced by Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman).

I warn you, theregister.co.uk is critical of just about everything but usually pretty accurate

Really? I might be more inclined to ring it now!

Although, I wasn't aware that Tinker bell had a voice!! I thought she sounded like a little bell! Or is this her voice from the new Pixie Hollow programmes?

She has a voice as per the new movie.

Clip from The Register
"As Sky notes, the Tinker Bell outrage is not the first time the time has been read by an imposter. Back in 2003, Lenny Henry's 123 gig helped raise £200k for Comic Relief - but then that was for charity and not to punt some bloody speaking fairy flick.
British Summer Time ends on Sunday 26 October at 01:00 GMT, when the clocks go back an hour. That means you'll have an extra hour over the weekend to listen to Tinker Bell, should you so wish. "

Whats with the hostility? The writer needs a few pints before writing :animwink:

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
I'm guessing that by BT they mean British Telecom. I think there's a service you call and you hear a voice tell you the time. :lookaroun

Oh... I see. I tend just to look at my watch.. or even on the clock on my phone. :lookaroun

You would think that would be easier than paying to have the time read to you! I honestly have no idea why this service exists - I guess just for those people who want to be exact.

Side note, is this really one for the animation and movies section? Perhaps I'm just bitter that I never have any other news to post :hammer:
