I was there yesterday

i went to the MK for a day and went on the timekeeper 3 times! i noticed a few glitches such as the present year being 2000 AD and 9 eyes mouth was not lighting up or moving. otherwise it was great!

They have the twin towers in the video, that is why they kept the year as 2000.

I hope it gets enough positive feedback that it gets to stay around. I like the Magic Kingdom better with Timekeeper in Tomorrowland.

It's mostly closed because we use it once and a while for space to have meetings and training and other things like that.

What is Timekeeper? Where is it? I would really like to check it out my next trip (if open) since a number of people seem to like it. I tried clicking on Timekeeper from the home page but no info came up.

Timekeeper is on your right, entering Tomorrowland from the hub... at least, I think it is...
Off-topic: Jimbobdaga, do you live in Chatham, Ontario?

Timekeeper is a 360 movie that includes two AA figures, Timekeeper and 9-Eye.

Timekeeper is a robot mad scientist who sends 9-eye (the camera that shoots the 360 footage, back to various points in time.

Robin Williams is hilarious as Timekeeper and Rhea Pearlman is very good as 9-eye.

I don't think that is the reason for the closure...I think the Buzz meet and greets, meetings, and training space is a way for Disney to justify the "seasonal" attraction. From what I have heard, Robin Williams is not very happy with Disney. See this link:

http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/williams%20disney%20is%20cheap

I don't know why they just don't replace Timekeeper's voice with someone else? The Paris version is a French actor. By the way Disneyland Paris is replacing Timekeeper (Levisionarium) with Buzz lightyear. How very sad in my opinion. If I wanted to go to a shooting gallery, I would go to Frontierland.

Back to the matter at hand. There is probably some legal dispute between Disney and Williams. It may cost WDW a substantial amount of money everytime they run the show. Perhaps this is why it runs for only a few days at a time. Update it for heavens sake and bring back some sense of wonder and vision to Tomorrowland. The average Disney guest rarely hears mention of Jules Verne since the demise of Horizons and the sporadic operation of the Timekeeper.

Really...a voice-over, removal of the Twin Towers, and replacement of the outdated Boys to Men music at the exposition would be very easy to fix.

9 eye's mouth hasn't worked for quite some time. I have been trained at the attraction for 8 months and whenever the show runs I have yet to see the animatronic actually have a mouth. I heard from another Cm on the 4th of july when we were watching some test shows that TK used to wear a tutu. Hence the tutu comment he makes during the show.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to run the show with guests that morning. I was in there around 8am and ran two test shows to decide if we opened up early that morn. I got bumped outta the theater by one of my friends. I left TK by 8:38am. Not sure if we opened up before 9am. For shame!!

Alright I was just going on what my trainer told me.
