I swear in the last 6 weeks time has slowed down. Days tick by but vacation still seems like its never coming. We've had a very stressful 3 months and we all need this trip bad.. my oldest son't gf leaves Sunday for Disney ( family we went with last year) and I can't help but be jealous!

Hang in there! You're almost on the home stretch! You should be like us; we moved 1000 south just so we could drive to WDW. Been there 3 times in the last 9 months with our next trip planned for November!

Ugh I hate those last few weeks, and I agree it seems as though time pretty much comes to a stand still. Its the I know I am getting so close and so does time. I dread them almost. Right now, with over 200 the days are flying. But believe me I know it will slow down and I will be sitting here in the same spot. Hang in there!

It's funny how when a trip is a week or two off it feels like forever but when its months away the time seems to fly. Don't even think about it if possible! Am I asking the impossible? Yes...this is Florida and Disney we are talking about here.

We need time for things to happen.
Over the last 2 years I've been very aware of how quickly time passes from the minute we wake up on vacation day until the minute we set foot back in our driveway. It's almost getting to the point where I focus on it and I don't want our vacation to start...It's like the minute it starts it means it's starting to end!!!!

I know how freakin' weird that sounds...but the point I'm trying to make is that -
(for now until I go straight psycho and I let it spiral completely out of control into " I can't enjoy my vacation because it's beginning to end")
- recently I've come to appreciate the slowness that occurs before the vacation.
It's not so bad -- plus I get to spend that time before hand here with you jokers. ;)

With my stupid theory\outlook out of the way I will say this:

My wife is going through some stress at work right now and needs the time off BADLY!
She's like you right now..it can't come soon enough!!

I will not dare give her my theory about enjoying the slow moving time--otherwise she'll punch me in the face. You on the other hand are far enough away where you can't punch me. :)

yep.. things seem to be getting more stressful here and I see Disney as my dangling carrot that is not getting any closer!
