Time Racers and WOL pavilion

Yep. As health being a part of life I agree Wonders of Life should be a pavilion as it was always meant to be by the time of opening until they shut it down.

Today's stuff could be pretty neat. Don't just cop out with simulators. Body Wars dark ride with simulated intensity rather than thrill ride coaster.

There are so many awesome things that can be done and the important lessons of the basic human body health is always changing but never in amount of importance.

the side opposite has no thrills (unless you consider Soarin' a thrill ride) and you still have Ellens energy adventure so FW is mostly non thrills... this could also bring Epcot and WDW more people that skip Epcot because it isnt enough of a thrill park... it gives u a new thrill with out losing a classic ride
People don't go to Epcot for thrill rides, if they really wanted to go to a thrill park their local Six Flags would do the job.

I have never seen EPCOT as a park that was skipped, at least judging by the crowds. EPCOT is easily the best park next to Magic Kingdom (some would say better than Magic Kingdom.) I agree with some, no new thrill rides. EPCOT needs to get back to its original premise, in my opinion. I would love to see wonder of life reopen. The crowds at EPCOT are insane. The park could use another pavilion to spread out the crowds. I welcome any new attractions in that space so long as they fit the future world template. Thrills? sure. Maybe there is room for one (i.e. Body Wars.) But, some new immersive dark rides like the others would be nice, too. And needed if you ask me.

I would skip EPCOT if it became TOO much of a thrill park. EPCOT was never meant to be a thrill park. As someone else said, if you want roller coasters, go to Six Flags. EPCOT is unique and has a charm that doesn't need to be infiltrated by mindless thrills. Besides, I am not quite sure what classic ride we are talking about here...

Just because its a thrill ride or a proposed thrill ride, doesnt automatically make it a roller coaster. I forget exactly what Time racers was, I think it was a simulator. But, if disney could do thrill rides similar to mission:space, then why not put it in epcot, and why not where a empty building sits collecting dust.

IMO, however, they have enough simulators in epcot and really do not need anymore. Not everyone enjoys them as much, and I think another type of thrill ride, or any ride could be put in that space.

People go to Epcot because it's a Disney park. If they went to be "edutained" Horizons, WoL, WoM, and the original Seas would still be there.

Thrill rides get people through the gates.

Why not a thrill ride based on the National Treasure films

Because National Treasure has about as much real history in it as Star Wars.

So you are suggesting Guests are stupid.

No, I'm saying guests go to theme parks to mainly have fun. You can give people information, but if rides are boring, it doesn't matter.

For the record, before I'm eaten alive by the ECPOT CENTER chuppacabras, I loved all the original EPCOT attractions, but the park as a whole had absolutely no adrenaline, no pop. You aren't going to have a successful theme park for very long without it.

Yeah, I've heard EPCOT was a real bomb of a park....

They had 12 great years before things started to fall apart in 94.

I agree with your post because EPCOT was suppose to be a park for Technology of the present day as well as future Technology that is shaping our future. I think WDI made a good decision when they pushed Future World and World Showcase together to form one park, instead of two parks! Can you imagine Future World being a park all to itself as well as World Showcase? I think it would be kind of boring for two separate parks with limited attractions as they have now! WS would definitely be a little boring with only a few attractions in the pavilions!

I thought about Wonders of Life pavilion and what could be incorporated into the space as is, to save on money of a rebuild, and my idea is have a place when the ideas of all th pavilions come together and show us how to incorporate them into our own lives now! I don't know what would be inside as far as attractions, that's what the imagineers are for!

I'd love to have a dark ride (ala Spider-Man) through the human body. Sure, "Body Wars" was kinda that way...but that was just a simulator and not a very good one. It doesn't need to be thrilling...but use the same ride technology because that can simulate a "floating" sensation.

Maybe focus on the affects of smoking on the lungs...cholesterol...etc.

It is not about numbers. Thrill rides need to be spaced out so that guests are drawn into the rest of the park. Put them all together and you create to great a concentration of interest. People do not wander past other little attractions and stores. The area would also become crowded, decreasing guest satisfaction.

WondersOfLife

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
?? Test Track already has..... Test Track.

We have an 80,000sq ft geodisic dome sat empty most of the time. Something that used to part of the admission cost, something onstage.

Much like Odyssey and the Imageworks, a shrine to when the park had more capacity for less guest dollar.

what i mean is, epcot already has a car-type pavilion, if you're going to make another why not replace test track with a dark ride :animwink: i say Galaxy of Motions :king:
