I need tickets for Sept but I was going to wait until next month to get them. Do you think that it will be a big difference, or more like a few bucks?

AP getting renewed before August 22nd with 35 bucks knocked off of the original 361.04.....unlimited visits to 4 parks for an entire year all for the low price of 326.04! Sounds like a steal.

Where did you see these prices? I just check to renew mine, and it's not close to that amount. $394 before tax.

Yes I remember they raised them twice last year....we usually buy ours at the disney store and then add additional days inside the park. Over the last 5 years when we have added days THAT amount seems unchanged...think it was about 2$ a day additional per day per ticket...for certain the past 3 years. The store will only sell up to 7 day tickets. That way if we do need the extra days its such the bargain that even if we go a part of a day its so reasonable. :king:

This year when I made 2008 reservations they said my rate would not be guaranteed until the new rates come out and then until my trip I was free to "modify" my rate if some offer came up.....not looking forward to finding out what my new rates are.....:lookaroun

I am sure that they will go up but I find it hard to believe that they would jump more than five dollars on a one day pass.

We always go for 7 or 8 days. I have got to buy passes for 4 days this time because of DH's meeting. It just makes me sick to spend that much money and for just a few dollars more we could have an 8 day pass.:fork:

We don't do annual passes because we don't do 10 days year to make it worth it. We only go every 2-3 years.

I have determined that my strategy ist o buy the 10-day park hopper with no expiration. We can usually get 2-3 visits out of that over a 4-8 year period. We bought our 10-day in Sept. of 2005 and still have 4 days left on it now. We'll likely use those days in 2010.

You pay quite a bit for no expiration ($90 I believe), but it seems worth it to avod $2-3 per day price increases year of year.

We don't tend to add water parks and more though. With kids we don't get to Pleasure Island, the two water parks are typically close to capacity and we find the resort pool a sufficient option and Disney Quest alone doesn't make the added cost seem worth it.

The last time WDW ticket prices went up was 6 August, 2006. That increase was announced in a press release on the 4th of August. The previous increase was announced in a Dec 31, 2005 press release and prices increased Jan 1, 2006.

In both instances, the price was announced only one or two days prior to a Sunday implementation date [1 Jan and 6 Aug '06 were both Sundays].

Weren't ticket prices and 2007 rates announced the same day?

It sucks if they follow the same pattern that you just mentioned, because I have today off and I was really hoping that they would be announced some time today while I'm free to play on the internet all day. LOL But then again, I have tommorrow off, too, so I will be home all day tommorrow if they announce it then.

Regardless, it surely won't be much more than a week now...I hope!
