Ticket Prices

Spirit of 74 over at LP said he has heard they are going up, too, maybe as soon as this weekend. Spirit's been quite reliable in the past on other matters.

Cool, maybe that means that we'll see an announcement today!

Not that I want prices to go up, mind you. But as much as I'm eagerly awaiting the release of 2008 prices, it will be nice to see something announced, even if it is only for tickets and not rooms. At least it's another sign that it's about time to plan trips for next year!

Here, here!

Can't wait to get my booking in...it's going to be two years since my last visit pretty soon.....

I might be going through a bit of withdrawl.

Mousavers.com updated their home page to state ticket prices go up as of August 8th. I know that's not the "official" line but still good info to have.

No, I haven't either, but I hope we'll see an official announcement on this forum sometime today. Unfortunately, though, if they follow the two day pattern, they will announce it on the 6th, which is another 3 days away.

Labor Day 2006 prices. Hope they will be the same when we go Labor Day 2007.
I am hoping they do the 3-day play for $140 because I have not been able to afford the AP this year.....:(

From disneyworld.com:
Florida Residents get the new 3-Day Play Pass for only $120 plus tax. The 3-Day Play Pass is available for purchase all year long and expires 6 months from the first use. So you can enjoy one Theme Park per day for any three days, with no block-out dates. And for Residents looking to enhance the pass even more, you can add the Park Hopper® option to your 3-Day Play Pass for $22.50 plus tax which lets you come and go as you please between the four Theme Parks on the same day.

Is it a different price on Labor Day?

For what it's worth, I just called WDW travel for some other reason, and while I was on the phone, I asked a question about ticketing, and also mentioned that there is a rumor that prices are going up soon. He said that as far as he has heard there is no ticket price increase scheduled in the next two weeks. Of course, he may not know, and if he does, he may not be allowed to release any info, but like I said - for what it's worth.
