I have a question about virtual queue for this, or I guess any virtual queue. There’s no way to change to a later boarding group right? If I have dining reservations for 5pm at the Contemporary and at 4:50pm I get told it’s my time to ride I basically just lose my slot correct?

Go to a GET umbrella/CM and they will sort you out. Most likely giving you a BG slot that is usable at any time.

You could also just explain to the CMs at the ride entrance that you had a dining reservation and they will let you through.
