Pretty good day for TBA! Of course Drew said on Twitter that most of the stuff on the ride wasn't working but at least it didn't have 10 hours of downtime!

I had the privilege of recently experiencing Fire in the Hole. While the figures were stationary and didn’t move, it was a ride filled with charm that ended in a thrilling splashdown.
It’s refurb only cost $30M, and everything worked as intended.

And it was such a classic ride, that cost included moving the entire thing and rebuilding it into a new building. Amazing g.

They don’t care about the return time with TBA. Last week, I had 7 AM grabs (BG 21/22) on Sunday and Wednesday. I redeemed my VQ on Sunday around 6 pm and right before normal park close (9:45 pm). The 9:45 pm was nearly 11 hours past my return window.
Both VQ redemptions were absolute walk-ons. It’s like they have way too much open capacity.
I sort of expect TBA to be on standby very soon. Maybe right at the first MNSSHP, which we know it will be on standby during the party anyway.

Oddly enough, according to https://thrill-data.com/waits/attraction/magic-kingdom/tianasbayouadventure/2024/08/04, they still sold a few Lightning Lanes after 9 (lastest return of those: 9:30).
Any way to see if the ride is still running after the Boarding Groups stop?

Not really other than someone physically there to see if the ride is opening.
If it's an extended closure, they sometimes mark it on the wait times map view.

Have BG 72 for my family’s first ride on this. But it’s currently down at 54. Hope they fix it before the next downpour!

From my experience last week, they will honor that BG way past the return time, till park close if the ride is operational.

The ride may be done for the night, other than stragglers who had a boarding group.
