That huge plateau gets to what I was asking about with "Temporarily Closed" messages. What is the difference between super-long plateaus and plateaus which lead to gaps?

Perhaps the super-long plateau means the ride stopped calling BGs but continued serving LLs (and previous BGs?), and gaps mean the ride actually shut down, but I really don't know.
