In th afternoon, I think Thrill Data is saying TBA stopped calling BGs at 12:58, and publicly shut the ride down at 1:50. The later corresponds roughly to a rain band; the former, emptying the line before forecast storms? Excess LLs? Line too long? I don't even know if the ride was running.

Here now. A big band of thunderstorms came through from 11:30-1. All outdoor attractions shut down. Then several heavy downpours intermixed with sun. When I walked past Tiana’s just before 4 pm the ride was working but there was no water running down the drop. Logs were coming down anyway.

Also, looking at the BG graph at https://www.thrill-data.com/waits/attraction/magic-kingdom/tianasbayouadventure/2024/08/23, the progression races faster than normal to 2:45, plateaus until about 4, then climbs extremely swiftly. Not sure what that means.

It's not weather related, in any event.

Any stoppage >15 mins I mark as notable.

Disney does put a temporarily close message once the ride has been down for at least an hour, basically once the BG call window resets.
