OK, I'm coming round to this project now. While she moves in that clip like she's drunk, the AA looks great.

I will expect Frozen faces to get updated to the same degree eventually.

Then how would BTM fit in the Bayou? It just can't be Frontierland/New Orleans Square/Frontierland..
Frontierland would still be the outside walkway next to the Rivers of America. Or New Orleans Square doesn't necessarily have to be a distinct land but an area that is part of Frontierland. NFL and Storybook Circus are somewhat distinct but are still considered part of Fantasyland at the same time.

I'm pleased to see what they are showing us.
But - how cool would it have been if this were a Facilier AA?
How great would it be if they were showing us some "threatening" element of this ride?
PATF was on over the weekend so I decided to watch it. Facilier isn't really the ultimate bad guy but the shadow demon, or whatever his name is. He and his shadow minions could be threats especially in the lower area that used to be the Laughing Place.

On the note of construction timelines. Seeing as how long much of New Fantasyland took, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway I think it is easy to see that Covid-19 had little to do with how long Tron or Cosmic Rewind.

I'm still holding out hope that there's some impending danger in this ride that we are saved from by Mama Odie.

Didn't Disneyland have a New Orleans Street in Frontierland in the early days before New Orleans Square was carved in? In a way, this could be a cool throwback. New Orleans was a port and gateway into the Frontier, so it works well.

There is nothing about this you’d be pleased with at this point.
That's what I was going to say hahaha!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm really going to miss Splash Mountain, but this Animatronic looks incredible and makes me very excited to see the other ones. Also, after seeing this I'm a lot more at ease thinking about the future of AA's with Disney if these are the new models with the actual faces and no projections anymore. I'm so happy that is over.
