I wonder how much longer until the Br'er statue and signage comes down in the courtyard/railroad station. Plus the Splash Mountain sign on the barn.

LOL yes they would definitely put "employee owned" on their logo in 1927...
Hardly. Almost everyone is criticizing at least some part of this update. It is just in the other thread, where we were told to take that kind of discussion.I think “wrong thread” is code for “stop criticizing this terrible update.”
It's been like 2 weeks. They're still assessing and prepping for construction. I doubt anything of substance has been done, yet. This makes me wonder how much (or little) they've done with the interior. Is the final scene still visible from the tarp over the windows?
Zipadeedoodah is now a Disco Rave. Yes, it was invented in the 1920s. No, don't look it up, I can assure you it's an authentic "Bayou Bash".This makes me wonder how much (or little) they've done with the interior. Is the final scene still visible from the tarp over the windows?
I believe that was done intentionally to evoke a wheatpasted “posted bill” look. Those signs being crooked really bugs me.
Oh our best days have been behind us. WDI is a joke now. Universal really did get the last of the good ones. This sounds great. Everyone will love the community service feel and passive lecturing. Now I see why this idea was so superior to the Splash narrative that included ….an actually compelling story.
Very disappointing. Our best days may truly be behind us.
A lot of good ones have retired or taken a step back as wellOh our best days have been behind us. WDI is a joke now. Universal really did get the last of the good ones.
