Something I forgot to mention, I took a peek behind the cheap looking wall they've installed at the exit (just behind the parked car).

All of this wonderful theming, etc. is still back there. Before:

Not a photo I took, but just sharing it for reference so some folks who've never seen past it know what is back there.

It's really a damn shame they're going to let all of that go to waste. The best they could do was cover it up with what will always look like a temporary fence and a crappy looking car? For Arceus' sake it doesn't even FEEL like a driveway or a natural parking spot with that ugly fence around it.

Just rode today and...the videos do it justice.
I rode for the first time in December and this approximates the reason I decided to skip posting my thoughts here. On the one hand I was feeling too let down to make the effort. On the other hand is, there really much more to say at this point? I can muster a few positives. The outside turn at the front of the attraction is improved by its bayou setting. The finale is also as lively as it should be, though it throws the sparser portions of the attraction into the spotlight. Using the 'Dip Drop' and final drop as visceral aspects of the magic that shrinks and restores us is a nice touch. Beyond that I suppose all we can hope for is an upcoming round of improvements, similar to what DCA's Little Mermaid received.

This is criminal. And that God Awful fenced off car. Why? So awkward. I have no idea what they re going for. It’s like they felt that just having an old car will somehow help the place making and yet if you re going to have it placed like that you re better not having it at all.

They should have re-themed what was there at the exit into the makeshift stage and dressing rooms they ended up putting in Louis' Critter Corner. All the little doors that said "Reuse, Recycle", etc. could have been different dressing rooms with Critter names and the boxed structure held up by two sticks could have easily been made to look like a makeshift stage, sort of like what we see behind the counter in the shop. Slap some posters all around it for fictional, future performances and you're solid.

But nah. Crappy fences all around!

Wow. Shocking that they wouldn't try to erase this great theming completely.
