Where did you see that? Would love to see 😅
The spinning display or the Frog statue?

The spinning display is in the window of Café Orleans with a tier of fake food. I wanted to get a video of it, only people are seated right near it and I can't not be awkward. Not a fan of the Frog imagery, but I had to admit it was super cute.

There are people who think Mickey's Runaway Railway, the Ratatouille ride, and the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at EPCOT are super-impressive too.

There's been so much conflicting information from "Insiders" online about the retheme that I'm just going to take whatever they throw at us with a grain of salt.

Apparently this person isn’t someone to praise or like the current Disney, but they seem to know stuff?

Interesting, for sure. Still, I’m waiting for any D23 announcements.

One of the things I’m most interested in is the ride’s integration into NOS. For example, theme music near the attraction, any kind of added aesthetics, food and drink additions, character meet & greets, etc.

That's not true at all.

Please verify that you're not just making something by quoting actual insiders and pointing out their contradictory statements.

There's been almost zero info from insiders as to exactly what the retheme will be looking like. So, it's hard for them to give conflicting information when there's almost no information given.

The source of conflicting information comes from people like you who hate the idea of retheme so much that you posit theories like "it will be all screens" or "there will be no AAs" or "Disney will definitely cheap out on this."

In a bayou. By definition the opposite of a mountain. Of which they have zero in New Orleans.

Like retheming the Matterhorn into a Little Mermaid ride.
Note that the setting of Splash Mountain is already described as a bayou:

Hop inside a hollow log and float through a colorful bayou as you follow happy-go-lucky Br’er Rabbit to his “laughing place.” But be warned: Br’er Bear and Br’er Fox are in hot pursuit of this wayward hare.
