Staring at walls with snowflakes painted on them doesn’t impress you?

Imagine if that scene had been created with snow falling through blue lasers with ice castles and such literally appearing around you with lighting and physical effects. Would have been a show stopper.

Or had us traveling backwards to flee ice explosions or wolves. The ride is one-note.

Yes!!!!! Exactly. So much potential. Heck even if they had just reskinned the big polar bear to be one of the wolves in a spooky forest that would have been cool!

It just seems, though, that there seems to be an issue with folks riding attractions they clearly don't like. FEA seems to have spent its entire budget on the small handful animatronics and literally nothing else. I avoid Frozen anything at all costs, so it could give away bags of star shaped marshmallows and I still wouldn't be interested.

Some of the World of Motion characters are in Pirates of the Caribbean I'm sure.

Some, but only a few and most of those were removed when they added the stuff from the movies. The chickens from WoM are still there though.

Agreed. That’s why I singled Olaf out - he looks so good! And then the screen face humans are just... eh.... not so good.

Not as bad as the screen face Mickey and Minnie. Those look bad in Runaway Railway

Do we know if projected faces work on darker-colored animatronics? The darkest animatronic I've seen projected features is on Lightning McQueen in RSR.

I think Olaf's eyes are screens, but the rest of him is physical. Maybe that's how they'll do Louis.

I don’t expect any changes to the flume at all. Given DL Splash’s history of mechanical design issues, that would be like poking the hornet’s nest.

It would be worth losing the Splash theme if they redid the flume to have boats like MK, not a chance they’ll spend that kind of money though.

This is the same reason I expect most of the animatronics to return, if an animal works in the bayou setting it’ll be cheaper to leave it in rather than spend money replacing it with something else, simply turn off the movement so they don’t have to fix it, throw a projector to create movement near it, and call it a day.

That would be hilarious the only change Is you replace the main Brers with Tiana and Lewis amd everything else is the Same. That would go over well.
