Twitter by design is created to elevate platforms that are the most extreme, polarizing, and outlandish. Sensationalism sells, only “retweets” and “likes” are the currency.

You’re arguing with bots and fake personas. It’s not worth it. Nor is it worth taking personal offense over.
True. Could be someone in the fandom posing as Chambers

I had no idea Splash was an opening day attraction! Bold of them to build it before they finished New Orleans Square. I bet Guest traffic through that construction zone was a nightmare in the 60's.

Yeah that’s the misconception. People like to say that Splash borrowed the AAs from America Sings when in actuality Splash loaned half of its AA to America Sings briefly until America Sings closed in the 80s. Splash was then restored to its former glory when all the AAs were reunited in 1989 and they relaunched Splash Mountain 2.0.

From what I understand Tony Baxter wasn’t too fond of shipping half of his Splash AAs to an outdated AA show in Tomorrowland but he thought Marc Davis needed all the help he could get.

Actually Splash Mountain was discovered in Florida swamps 60 years ago and then after finding it Walt decided to build a park around it and clone it to Disneyland for it's 10 anniversary. duhhhh ;)

Imagine what Walt would think of Chapek running the company.
Oh, I think he’d be incredibly disappointed/shaking his head in all honesty. The very definition of a “pencil pusher” taking the reigns, when it should be the creatives running things with upper management/the financers supporting & respecting them properly, as the creatives & their works are the long term “life blood” of the company. Both in regards to legacy and the bottom line. (Not to mention, the positive impact it makes on everyone)

Absolutely. Chapek clearly has no understanding of the values that made the Disney brand so beloved in the first place. I'm not convinced the company's current leadership has their finger on the pulse; I suspect they underestimate how much Disney's 21st-century success (especially in the theme park division...) stems from coasting on nostalgia. And that's tragic, because they don't even understand that nostalgia.
