A guest asked for my full name after failing to get on Peter Pan as quickly as she expected. She told me she would be contacting her lawyer to take legal action. I happily gave it to her, middle name included, and asked if she wanted my home address as well.

Ah yes, the entitled "you'll be hearing from my lawyer" people 🤣 I've heard that once or twice in my time with aquatics. Never towards a specific person though.? Sorry you had to deal with that.

Someone threatened to report me to the media once for enforcing an admission ticket rule.

Looks like the log is going the right way but the camera is closer to Brer Fox

When you go around that curve in the ride it's a left turn, with Brer Bear on your left and the wall on your right.

With that log orientation, there's the wall on the rider's left, with Brer Bear on the right.

They are my favorite types of guests. No need to apologize, I smiled during that entire confrontation. It was funny and amusing to me.

I assume that person had no admission ticket?😂

I don't have any specific beef with McDonald's aesthetic changes
Just out of curiosity, was the pun in this post intentional?

We don’t know that.
I legitimately have never heard anyone call Splash Mountain racist until that Princess and the Frog retheme idea got posted on Twitter. Sometimes I'd see somebody say "hey, isn't it kind of weird that Splash Mountain is based on a movie Disney is ashamed of?", but that's not the same thing.

That's actually how that post card was sold. Confusing, I know. Not sure how they got the log to face the wrong direction.

Y'know what confuses me about this picture? Brer Fox's hair is the same orangey-brown color as the rest of his body. But in the ride now, the hair on the top and sides of his head is WHITE for some reason. Why did they change it?

Yes, but that doesn't mean there have never, ever been people who have considered it racist in its 31-year existence though.

I highly doubt anyone went to city hall to complain how an AA of a rabit and fox based on a cartoon came off as racist on a water ride.

You can doubt it, but it doesn’t mean it never happened.

We are going in circles. Splash is going away. It’s sucks, but it’s linked to a film that the public and Disney find controversial. It’s a banned film. Splash was probably on borrowed time from the beginning.
