He was out a few times this summer I guess to see how he would be reacted to. He did good from what I heard.

Thanks for the info. I saw him in October and December of last year, so he has been out and about. My wife had mistakenly identified him as the White Rabbit, so of course he had to "thump" to clarify things. Must need some great thighs to be Thumper!

I can imagine that! I can't tell you how many guests (adults included) used to think Mr. Smee was Santa! And it wasn't even Christmas time!

I hope they keep Thumper out. I would love to have my picture taken with him!

Awww....I love Thumper :)

Reminds me of easter last year at Disneyland Resort Paris,
They put a GIANT see through easter egg in the centre of main street and it was filled with hundreds of Thumper Plush, I have a pic somewhere
Thumper doesn't get out enough :)

Flower would have been nice, but I am happy that mngt is finally seeing the light that the guests want to see different characters. We all love Rafiki, Timon, Gideon, and Meeko, but they need a break. They visit the parks all the time. I would like to see Panchito and Joe Carioca brought to AK. I would like to see Bernard and Miss Bianca at MK. That would be nice. I'll take what I can get though.

Hooray for Thumper! I agree with everyone, Thumper doesn't get out enough. I am a huge Thumper fan. I have pet bunnies and one of them looks like him (although she's a girl) which makes me love him even more. I'm making a quick trip to MK on Tues, maybe I'll nip over and see if he's there. Does anyone know what time he'd be most likely to be out and about?

I cant agree more with the idea of some different characters getting out and about. I think Thumper is adorable!!!!!!!!! And seeing Flower would be just the coolest!!!!!!! Belle
