Can you guys tell me which thrill rides you are able to wait until the end to Chicken out on. That way our group can stay Together if they wish Until we get on.

Splash, SE, ToT, MS, BTM, EE, Dinosaur, Test Track,

Thanks so much.

The only one I know of is Tower Of Terror. The first time I went I chickened out just as I was about to get on the elevator. The funny thing about that is from that point you have to take an elevator down one flight to exit the attraction. I've since braved it & gone on the entire ride.
I haven't chickened out on any other ride. Or at least didn't bother to get on the line. Tee Hee

You would be able to chicken out of all of them, if someone gets to the end of the line and doesn't want to ride just let the CM's know. It would be a *major* lawsuit waiting to happen if they forced people to ride once they were at a certain point in the line.

I know that most of the rides you can just walk out the other side of the ride vehicles such as SM, BTM, Space Mt, and EE. M:S you can just walk out the exit til the very end of the line.

I can not think of a single attraction at WDW that doesn't have some sort of exit that could be used as a chicken exit.

I would think that on most rides where you end at the begining, you could chicken out at the last minute like BTMRR, EE, SM that kind of thing.

Funny ToT story. When my nephew was 4 he waited with us for ToT, but was to short to ride so I went down with him in the elevator. The CM was really nice and tried to stay in character for the whole thing. My nephew thought that he was really riding the ride. It was funny.

They also let you chicken out in Mission Space, but as each "capsule" only holds 4 people, if the line is long and you do this intentionally, you're occupying a potential seat that will go unused during the ride. Not the most park-friendly thing to do since you know in advance you're chickening out. If you want to experience MS without the ride, let a cast member know when they assign you to "training areas" and they may let you continue on while still assigning someone to the seat. (Just a thought.)

Being family-friendly, just about every ride will have a method to let you out. Tower of Terror requires the "special" elevator due to it's design. Typically, there is an exit near the ride boarding area you can use to exit. These can also be used for boarding handicapped guests as well. (A friend of mine has to board this way and mentioned it in passing.)

Pretty much all of them. I'm pretty sure they work like this...

Everest-Ask a Cast Member at load, and they'll take you through a gate back to Serka Zong.

Tower-Ask a Cast Member at Load, and you'll get in an elevator to take you down to Unload. Don't worry, it won't fall!

Coaster-When you get to the Parking Garage, ask a cast member at load and they'll take you through a door and down a hall to unload.

Splash-When you get to load, tell them you're not riding, and they'll take you up and down some stairs that will take you to unload.

Big Thunder-When you're loaded into a row, walk right through the car and onto unload.

Space Mountain-When you pass Tower you'll see a gate marked "Exit". Open that gate and follow the signs down to unload.

Test Track-When you get to load, tell them you don't want to ride and they'll take you up and down some stairs to unload.

Mission: SPACE-When you get out of the ready room, ask a Cast Member and they'll show you to unload where you can wait for your group to come out.

I think that's it. Good luck!

My son has chickened out on most of them and never had a problem. Just let the CM know and they'll show you the exit. They'll generally end up where you'll be exiting.

SE is spaceship Earth.

They all have chicken-out exits. Try not to chicken out though, all the disney rides are well worth the "fear" you exoerience whil waiting on line. Take a deep breath, and get on. Trust me, you will be so glad you did!!

I chickend out on the big water slide @ BB. I had to walk down past everybody, they laughed and joked about the biggest guy in line was afraid but it was all in good fun. The worst part was walking past the little kids waiting in line to slide down that thing.

Most of the rides have a face to face ok your you are set to go!!!
I can imagine getting full feather mode waiting for the RNRC launch ... You get there ..There's no pulling over the Limo to get you dropped off....

We've only had chicken-outs on ToT. The youngest wouldn't do it his first trip thru the line. The following year he went. Now the oldest has decided he doesn't want to take the plunge. He's old enough that he goes thru the line with us and proceeds to the unload area while we ride. We always tell the CM assigning seats on the ride that he won't be riding. Generally they assign all the rows, then right before we get on they escort him (with our backpack) to the well-functioning elevator. :)

I chickened out on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster a few years ago. I never went on any roller coasters before and I thought well it's Disney and it's inside it can't be that bad. But when I walked in to see it take off I started freaking out. My boyfriend still wanted to do it but I just walked through the seats to the other side and waited for him to get off. Eventually I went on it and now I do ever single roller coaster I see. However I still will always get the nervous stomach. :lookaroun

I loveee that they have these. And it is all those rides. Although...make sure the people you're in line with understand that you intend to get off, and let you. Needlesstosay, when you go with a bunch of teens...they're not too quick to listen to a "fear" of any shape or size. Whichhh is why I end up just waiting outside the ride, or going to see something else that's going on.
