Thoughts on the Christmas Parade

ok, thanks to tivo I just saw her sing some christmas songs, meh it was alright nothing special. Also paid attention to the sean kingston part, love how he was singing "this christmas we gon' get it in" .. your gon' get WHAT in exactly Mr. Kingston?

i thought the parade was horrible. i know disney is a business and has to promote their products but can't they do it in better ways? Nick Cannon and Ryan Secrest were horrible. Selena Gomez is the only Disney tv star that can actually hold a tune. Actually she was really the only singer on the show that could hold a tune.


and i do wish they stop talking so you can actually listen to the parade. i went to the christmas parade is nov but could hardly here the music is this one.

Got a question, Where are the Partners statues placed? Some shots where wide enough to be on camera, and NO, only Disneyland maybe under the stage (like last year with the JoBros.)

And to add I thought it was actually pretty good. Jacki Evanko (the little 10 year old everyone keeps referring too) is an angel in disguise....her voice is unbelievable and she sang a beautiful hymn...probably why she was invited in the first place. She is one of the few that can pull that song off....the Glee Star did a great rendition of 5 or 6 Disney songs and did a pretty good job I thought. Mariah Carey - where is all the hate coming from? Do you know anyone else who can hit that many octaves? I may not be a fan but she IS a great singer. Selena Gomez also did well. Disney invites certain guests at any given time and does what they can. I have to give them credit for pulling off an event of this magnitude which while not perfect to everyone...is something that is fun, full of life, entertaining, musical, and yes...does sell Disney at some point of the show. They talked alot about the new items coming to Disney Land and very briefly about the FLE. But all around I gave the show a solid B plus! It's a tradition here and we watch it together every year.

I say good job Disney!:sohappy:

The parade was a 2hr promo. Like many said, not as great as the past, however that has become the new norm. I wish it was like the old days, but oh well.

I actually didn't mind it too much except for the hosts. Seacrest I have learned to tolerate, however Nick Canon is garbage. He was reading like a 2nd grader off the prompters, and was yelling as he was reading. It was embarrassing for him and we just turned the channel when he was on. And what was he wearing? I'd rather have seen Ray Charles host.
