You actually caught the system in an in-between state, when the auto-switching for the iPad was incorrectly set. That should not reoccur again.

I wish the mobile site would have a redirect to the normal site, but I like it.

It is on my list. Typically I believe that most mobile users will be on 3G and will find it easier to use the mobile version. I do understand though that in some cases the full version would be useful to have.

I like all the upgrades, but I really was fond of the old color scheme. The current options, white or "dimmed" look very generic. I don't want to feel like I'm using reddit. Could we get the old color scheme back?

Same here. I've been visiting different threads, I am not getting the "hanging" I used to get. The page wouldn't load and it would frustrate me. It hasn't happened yet, so I am really pleased with this.

You can multiquote on the same page by hitting Reply on each post you want to quote. It will add them to the reply box on the bottom of the page.
I'm enjoying the upgrades overall. I too liked the blue better, but with the dimmer options everything looks good.
Some people complain as easily as they breathe.

Multiquote just requires clicking "reply" on each post, the only trick is in multiple pages you have to go back to where you were. The "Reply" will be underlined to show it will be included.
make sure to choose "Stay logged in" when you login.

It doesn't feel right. I'm sorry as I'm sure a lot of work went into doing it however it's not as user friendly to me and feels less like a 'living' forum somehow. I hope it grows on me but right now I feel really depressed about it, like I've lost something. Sorry to seem ungrateful.
New things are always strange at first. Give it a week or so, then see how you feel. I'm willing to bet once you get used to it you will like it even better than the old forum.

Just play with it for a while and you'll really be impressed. It's different, but so much faster, and actually if you give it a chance, you'll see that it really is quite user-friendly. If I can figure it out with my dinosaur mentality, I know you can too.
